Taylor Swift To Reportedly Perform During College Football Halftime Show
Are you ready for it?
Entertainment Tonight reports that Taylor Swift is slated for perform at the College Football National Championship in Atlanta, Ga. on Jan. 8, 2018.
"She will headline a concert in Centennial Olympic Park during halftime of the game," a source told the site. "It will be a free concert. ESPN has her booked for the event and has a massive deal to release new music from [her upcoming album] Reputation through its college football coverage this season."
Wondering why Swift didn't try to snag a spot at the Super Bowl instead? Well, according to ET, Swift, 27, has an endorsement deal with Coke, and, seeing as how the Super Bowl is sponsored by Pepsi, her contract just wouldn't allow it.
As Variety reported, Swift had debuted a snippet of her single "...Ready for it?" during ESPN's Florida State vs. Alabama college football game on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017. The song was released on streaming platforms the following day.
