Taylor Swift Battles It Out With Andy Samberg In Commercial For New AT&T Service

If you thought Taylor Swift would be laying low until her album's November release, you'd be wrong.

The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer just helped announce the release of Taylor Swift Now, an AT&T exclusive that gives fans a closer look into the life of the superstar. And, while the idea of watching behind-the-scenes footage of Swift sounds great, it's the commercial for DirectTV Now's Swift videos that has everyone talking.

In the commercial, cameras document a day in the life of Swift, who starts the ad during a recording session. But she doesn't remain behind the mic for too long. After playing with her adorable cat Olivia Benson—yes, named after Mariska Hargitay's Law & Order: SVU character—Swift, 27, soon goes off in search for food, as every procrastinator does, which sends her on an adventure within the studio.

The best part of the commercial? Swift's epic fight with Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg, or, as she calls him, "Andy Sam-jerk." Their brawl then escalates to include a thumb war, a caricature contest, and a choreographed fight sequence—ultimately resulting in Samberg being kicked through a wall.

Believe us. This commercial is one worth watching.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Swift's sixth studio record, Reputation, is scheduled for release on Nov. 10. Following the album's release date reveal, Swift announced that she'd be going on tour in 2018. She also launched a brand new ticket sale initiative, called Taylor Swift Tix, which seeks to give "verified fans" priority access to ticket purchases in an effort to beat out scalpers and bots who'd attempt to resell tickets at a higher price.

While we wait for more Swift news, read up on all the small details you missed in her latest music video.
