Heather Locklear Hospitalized After Car Crash

The Melrose Place actress got into a accident on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017.

TMZ reports that Heather Locklear drove her car, a Porsche, into a ditch around 6 p.m. in California's Thousand Oaks area. The gossip rag notes that Locklear, 55, appeared alert after the crash and was not cited by police for any wrongdoing.

According to E! News, Locklear was taken to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center after the accident, where she was treated for "minor" injuries. Police told the celeb news site that no alcohol or drugs had been involved. However, Entertainment Tonight reports that a police investigation is still ongoing.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time that Locklear's driving has sparked a police investigation. In 2008, her alleged erratic driving caught the attention of one witness, who phoned police out of concern for the actress' safety. Locklear was later arrested on suspicion of a DUI and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
