Stars Who Refuse To Interact With Fans

For someone whose last two albums sunk faster and deeper than the Titanic, Christina Aguilera sure doesn't appreciate the few fans she has left. According to Bustle, the singer shut down an entire gag gift store while she shopped. "When she exited, she allegedly refused to talk to or look at her fans outside, and even laughed at them as she passed by," the site said. Sounds like "What A Girl Wants" is to be left alone.

When Kendall and Kylie Jenner were supposed to promote their ghostwritten debut novel, Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Livia and Lex, in the summer of 2014, they reportedly signed the bare minimum of autographs, barely spoke about the book, then bounced. 

A source told the New York Daily News, "The whole event was a joke. These girls are really getting ideas above their standing in life. This type of diva behavior will come back to bite them in the a**. For years they have used the media and made millions promoting themselves in media, and then they take this ridiculous step?"

Kylie reportedly is more standoffish with fans than her older sister, with Page Six reporting that despite getting paid $200,000 to celebrate her big 18th birthday at a nightclub, she never once left the VIP area to mingle with the plebeians who paid to see her. A spy claimed, "Kylie was escorted to the VIP restroom to change her outfit, but decided it wasn't up to standard and asked to be taken back to her car by security and then driven 50 to 100 feet to another, evidently more suitable bathroom."

Sandra Bullock seems like one of the most down to earth actresses in Hollywood, but it seems even she has her moments. In 2012, Star magazine (via Celebrity Dirty Laundry) reported that the Oscar winner once shunned a wheelchair-bound veteran who had the nerve to ask her for an autograph while on the Boston set of The Heat (2013). "Sandra was so rude," a witness claimed. "She covered her face and yelled. He just wanted an autograph, and she actually yelled at him!" To be fair: Bullock denied those claims.

When Kate Winslet was filming Labor Day (2013) in Massachusetts, fans waited for her in the rain...and got nothing. One fan told Star magazine (via Radar Online), "[Winslet was] so rude, she never once acknowledged any of us. I was devastated. She gave dirty looks to people...who waited hours to see her." The fan added, "Kate wouldn't even look up for a second to acknowledge we were all adoring her... She was just plain nasty. Kate was only on set for a short time and jumped back in her Cadillac and took off, without even a wave or thank you or a smile for us... Kate Winslet really left a bitter taste in our mouths."

To be fair, this may have been an issue of timing: if Winslet was on set, she may not have been allowed to get wet in the rain for fear of delaying filming. Still, that doesn't excuse those alleged glares.

These Sex Tape co-stars would probably like to erase the stories about their infamous fan interaction at the film's New York premiere. According to Radar Online, the pair were "awful" to their admirers. "It's not like the fans were following them at a hotel or restaurant, it was a film premiere with fans," a source told the tab. "Both of their attitudes were disgusting." Sources claimed Diaz "lectured" fans, while Segel slammed a car door in a fan's face. Fans also alleged the two ditched the scene before their own movie even started. 

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee is happy to take your money, but good luck getting an interaction with him in any capacity. The rocker wrote an open letter on his band's Facebook page in June 2012 announcing that he basically wants nothing to do with the Crue's loyal fanbase.

He began by assuring that he "f**king loves" his fans before launching into a tirade against them. "What I have a problem with is...taking pictures! I hate it! Irritates the f**k out of me when people say...'You owe it to your fans, they put you where you are, etc. etc.!' I certainly don't owe anybody anything."

He went on and on: "I'm not here to take pictures with you, I'm here to entertain you! Nobody put me where I am but ME! They may have helped inspire me with their love for what I do...but I put myself right here where I want to be with a lot of hard work, practice, talent, luck, etc..." 

A year later, Lee announced that he would also no longer participate in band meet and greets with fans, either—which he actually got paid to do. Who knew a guy with one of the most famous sex tapes of all time could be so shy?
