Is Big Ed Brown From 90 Day Fiance Still With Liz Woods?

Ed "Big Ed" Brown first debuted into our collective consciousness on "90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days" Season 4. As TLC recaps, Brown's on-screen journey followed his romance with Rosemarie, a woman from the Philippines. Their awkward and often volatile interactions made Brown an instant hit in our meme-obsessed culture. One of his failed pick-up lines became a viral TikTok sound, and fans of the show even went as far as to make cringe-worthy compilations of Big Ed on YouTube, such as "Rosemarie being disgusted by Ed for 2 minutes straight."

While that relationship eventually fell apart, TLC gave Brown another shot at love through their spin-off series, "90 Day Fiance: The Single Life." It was here that he met Liz Woods, who he would describe as "beautiful, and soft, and caring." In typical Brown fashion, however, the relationship has been anything but smooth. With Brown and Woods' romance now taking place off-camera, it can be hard to keep up with the drama. Is the pair still together?

The on-again, off-again couple is engaged

When season one of "90 Day Fiance: The Single Life" wrapped up, fans saw Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods making plans to move in together. But during the tell-all reunion, the couple was sitting on opposite sides of the set. "I moved way too fast," Brown explained. "The relationship didn't have a chance." Things only looked worse for the couple when, around the time their tell-all aired, a phone call was leaked in which Brown hurled insults at Woods and she cried, "Stop belittling me, I don't deserve this."

Despite the turmoil, Woods and Brown shocked viewers when they returned to "The Single Life" Season 2 with hopes for reconciliation. People got an exclusive look at the fateful episode where the pair came back together and Brown proposed. "I reach into my safe and I pull out this ring at 3:15 in the morning. I said, 'I'm serious about you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.' She's like, 'Are you going to put it on my finger?' And I finally did, and now we're engaged." Brown said.

In an Instagram post, Liz wrote (via In Touch), "We are not perfect by any means. Passing by all the bulls*** with the many breakups, I am forever grateful to be called yours. I am your forever and you are mine." Notably, the post has since been deleted, but other posts with Brown remain on Woods' feed.

Big Ed and Liz Woods' engagement was met with mixed reactions

While Big Ed Brown was writing on Instagram that Liz Woods had made him "the luckiest man in the [world]," other people in their life were less than enthusiastic. During the tell-all reunion with "The Single Life" castmates, their co-star Debra Johnson seemed highly skeptical. "Promise me, don't marry him for a while," she urged Woods. She then turned to Brown, saying, "You're not in love with her, you're using her. You are desperate." Stephanie Matto chimed in, saying, "I think Ed f***ed up. And he was blasted all over the internet for it. He came back crying and he gave her the biggest gift he could think of, and that is an engagement. And that's how he got her back. It's basically a bribe."

In Entertainment Tonight's first look at the tell-all, they also noted that none of Brown's family members were present. On a previous episode of "The Single Life," Brown had admitted that his 31-year-old daughter took issue with his preference for younger women. Despite the disapproval of their castmates and family, Big Ed and Woods appear to be going strong. Woods shared a photo of her and her man getting close in a pool in April, describing themselves as "Two Peas In A Pod!" She wrote, "I Love You Bebe!"
