90 Day Fiance: What Is Big Ed's Ex Rose Doing Now?

Rosemarie "Rose" Vega first entered the spotlight when she met then-54-year-old American Edward "Big Ed" Brown on Season 4 of "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days" at 23 years old. The Filipina from Caloocan in Metropolitan Manila was introduced as Ed's girlfriend and a single mother to her son, Prince. The relationship between Rose and Ed got off to a rocky start, and Ed received criticism from "90 Day Fiancé" viewers for some of his comments over the course of the season — including wanting Rose to shave her legs and take an STD test.

The couple's relationship ended in one of the more notable splits in the "90 Day Fiancé" universe, and Brown eventually stayed on as a cast member on "90 Day: The Single Life." Following her relationship with Brown, though, it turns out that Rose has made a name for herself and moved beyond her stint on reality television.

Rose Vega has become successful in business and romance

In November 2021, InTouch reported that Rosemarie "Rose" Vega has used her fame from "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days" to take modeling gigs and promote products on social media. The reality star even opened a store in her hometown named after her young son, Prince, which she showed off to her fans on her YouTube channel.

Following her run on "Before the 90 Days," Rose entered a relationship with an Australian man named Greg Scherwinski. It is unclear when the two began dating, but Rose first introduced her new boyfriend to viewers of her YouTube channel in a video that she posted in April. In the video, Greg assisted Rose's "strict father" with some handiwork on a pig farm. The trio also dined on Filipino food, and later in the video, Greg mingled with the rest of Rose's circle.

In an episode of "90 Day Diaries," Rose revealed she "met Greg on social media" and that he is a real estate agent from Australia. According to the website for the Melbourne-based real estate agency Ray White Mordialloc, Greg is its founder and director.

She's fought criticism of her relationships and finances

Before sharing Greg Scherwinski's identity online, Rosemarie "Rose" Vega posted snaps to her Instagram account in January 2020 that alluded to a vacation to Bangkok, Thailand with her son, Prince, and her then-unnamed romantic partner. It was then confirmed in Rose's update on "90 Day Diaries" that the relationship between the two is a long-distance one; Scherwinski continues to reside in Australia, while Rose resides in the Philippines as of this writing.

In an August 2022 tell-all video on her YouTube channel, Rose cleared up additional misconceptions about herself, including assumptions that she has received from the public that she is a "gold digger" and is not actually interested in her romantic partners for anything but their money. In the video, captioned in English, Rose stated, "I don't use other people for the sake of money. I have my own money that I get from social media."

She also recounted her previous jobs — including a janitorial gig and working at a grocery store — and explained that she never shied away from taking on roles because of her gender. Ever-independent, Rose also stated that she doesn't need a man to raise her son because she "can raise Prince on [her] own."
