Chris Evans, Jenny Slate Are Officially Back Together

The friendliest former couple has officially reunited!

According to an Entertainment Tonight report, published on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, Chris Evans and Jenny Slate are giving their relationship another go. 

Rumors have swirled that the cute pair were dating again ever since they were spotted hanging out in Atlanta, Ga. while Evans filmed the latest Avengers movie in early October 2017. Shortly after, the two exchanged a series of flirty messages on social media. 

But it wasn't until mid-November that fans began to truly speculate about their rekindled romance. On Nov. 9, Slate's voice was heard in the background of videos shared by Evans on social media. The following day, she gushed about her then unnamed boyfriend on Twitter. "My boyfriend does many dreamy&generous things but number 1 in my mind right now is how he celebrates my new turtlenecks/let's me show him my online shopping spoils&cheers me on," the Obvious Child star wrote.

According to People, which also confirmed that the exes were back together, Slate was seen helping Evans hunt for a New York City apartment earlier this week, as he began to prepare for his Broadway debut in Lobby Hero, which will premiere in March 2018. The couple reportedly looked happy and "very much back together," a source told the magazine.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Slate, 35, and Evans, 36, started dating in May 2016, shortly after Slate divorced her husband of four years, filmmaker Dean Fleischer-Camp. But the two, who starred in Gifted together earlier this year, called it quits in February 2017. Following their breakup, they remained friendly and supportive of one another, often singing each other's praises in the press. 

"Chris is truly one of the kindest people I've ever met, to the point where sometimes I would look at him and it would kind of break my heart," Slate told New York Magazine in March. Meanwhile, Evans shared similar sentiments, gushing to People, "She's my favorite human."
