Michael Buble Provides An Update On His Son Noah

How's the singer's kiddo doing?

Entertainment Tonight reports that Michael Bublé and his son Noah, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, are enjoying the Christmas season. And rightfully so, given that Noah's health has greatly improved. According to a source, the 4-year-old is "doing very well."

"He's an energetic little boy!" the insider added, noting that the child's major health scare made the family grow closer. "Events like this put everything in perspective...There's no doubt Christmas will be extra special at the Buble household this year."

The source also mentioned that the 2017 holiday season will be vastly different from that of the year before. "This time last year, the holidays were a tense time for the Buble family," the insider said. "When Noah received a cancer diagnosis, Michael immediately made the decision to step away from his work. It was really a scary time for everyone."

In November 2016, Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, announced that they'd be taking a hiatus from all professional engagements while they help their son battle liver cancer. "We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US," the singer shared on Facebook at the time. "Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing."

After undergoing four months of chemotherapy, Noah was later declared cancer-free.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Bublé is now back to performing just one year later. In November 2017, Bublé announced that he'd be hitting the stage in July for two concerts—one in England and the other in Ireland. He'll also be hosting the 2018 Juno Awards in his hometown, Vancouver, Canada (via The Hollywood Reporter).

According to ET's source, Bublé is "in a really good head space right now."
