Supergirl Star Melissa Benoist's Divorce From Blake Jenner Is Official

The actors are now legally single once again.

TMZ reports that Supergirl star Melissa Benoist and her former Glee co-star Blake Jenner finalized their divorce on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017. They reportedly reached a property settlement agreement outside of court.

Benoist also had her maiden name "Benoist" legally restored, as she'd apparently taken Jenner's last name after marriage.

Benoist and Jenner started dating in 2012 before getting engaged one year later. They reportedly got hitched in a private wedding ceremony in March 2015, though news of the couple's nuptials didn't break until July of that same year.

Benoist filed for divorce from Jenner in December 2016, listing irreconcilable differences as reason for their split. According to Us Weekly, the pair's busy work schedules and the physical distance between them were largely to blame for their big breakup.

Since separating from Jenner, Benoist has been seen cozying up to her Supergirl co-star Chris Wood. As Nicki Swift previously reported, the two were spotted kissing while on vacation together in Cancún, Mexico in March 2017.
