Who Is Selling Sunset Star Vanessa Villela's Husband, Nick Hardy?

Vanessa Villela was the newest cast member to join "Selling Sunset" in Season 4. The hit Netflix series features an all-female cast, with the exception of the founder of The Oppenheim Group, Jason Oppenheim, and the occasional appearance of his brother, Brett Oppenheim. While the "Selling Sunset" realtors were expected to act professionally in the workspace, drama from their personal lives ultimately found its way into the office.

Many of the "Selling Sunset" stars often talked about each other's personal lives, as well as their own. Mary Fitzgerald was open about the strain in her relationship with her husband, Romain Bonnet, due to their age difference. Their relationship was much-talked about for many seasons of "Selling Sunset." However, Villela remained tight-lipped about her love life during "Selling Sunset" Season 4 and focused on making it as a successful realtor.

Since her breakup with Cuban actor Mario Cimarro in 2013, Villela's love life has remained out of the spotlight. However, starring in a reality show has caused her to open up, and "Selling Sunset" Season 5 found her with a new love.

Vanessa Villela's relationship with Nick Hardy explained

Vanessa Villela introduced her then-boyfriend, Nick Hardy, on "Selling Sunset" Season 5. Villela revealed on the show that she and Hardy had met online and after talking for months, the two decided to take a leap and meet face-to-face in Mexico. What was supposed to be a ten-day trip lasted two months, and the two had been dating since.

Many "Selling Sunset" fans were confused about Villela's new beau, as she referred to him as "Nick" on the show but tagged a man named "Tom Fraud" on her social media. Hardy, who also goes by this pseudonym, explained why he has two names. "Tom Fraud is a play on words and a fictitious name representing art and freedom as a practice," he told Tudum. According to Hardy's website, he is a photographer and creative director based in the U.K. and has often used Villela as his model and muse.

During "Selling Sunset" Season 5, Hardy stopped by the Oppenheim Group office and presented Villela with a ring. As he put the diamond ring on her finger, the other agents stood by in excitement, thinking he was proposing. However, Hardy told Villela it was a promise ring, and hinted that something bigger was soon going to happen.

A few months later, Villela got down on one knee and surprised Hardy with a proposal of her own. Villela shared that she believed women should reciprocate the love men show them and wanted to do something special for Hardy before their big day.

Vilella and Hardy got married on September 3 at The Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, as reported by Brides. The pair tied the knot in front of 69 of their friends and family. As Vilella walked down the aisle, Hardy recalled, "Turning around and seeing Vanessa walk down the aisle for the first time took my breath away. I felt like I was going to pass out." Villela shared with Shape that she had manifested the love of her life, and it looks as if she found her dream man.
