Report: RHONY Star Luann De Lesseps Pleads Not Guilty After Arrest

The 52-year-old just responded to the recent charges brought against her.

E! News reports that The Real Housewives of New York City's Luann de Lesseps pleaded not guilty to charges related to her arrested on Dec. 24, 2017.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, de Lesseps was arrested in Palm Beach, Fla. on Christmas Eve. She was charged with "battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence and crimes against a person."

Later reports revealed that de Lesseps had allegedly trespassed at the Colony Hotel, going into a room that was not hers with a former flame and refusing security's orders to leave. According to Page Six, de Lesseps, who allegedly appeared "highly intoxicated," shoved a police officer and hit him in the head with the door after he attempted to enter the room. After her arrest, she reportedly tried to free herself from police custody and yelled, "I'm going to f**king kill you."

De Lesseps, who announced she'd be divorcing husband Tom D'Agostino in August 2017, has since spoken out about her arrest, revealing that she'll be entering a treatment facility for alcohol abuse. "After the events of last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed," she said in a statement obtained by People. "I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center. I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event."

She went on, "Once again, I sincerely apologize for my actions. I have the greatest respect for police officers and the job they do. My actions alleged in the police report do not reflect my core values and my law abiding character."

The reality star noted, "I am so grateful for the love and support that I am receiving from my family, friends and loyal supporters."

While we wait to hear more about de Lesseps legal troubles, read about the real reason she and Agostino divorced.
