Fun Kendall Jenner Facts For Every Fan

Kendall Jenner is undoubtedly the most individualistic and private of The Kardashian-Jenner clan. While her famous sisters are often letting the world in on their love lives and their family drama per their myriad of reality TV shows, the supermodel has maintained an air of mystery throughout her career in the public eye. She is known for her quiet nature and embraces it.

The moment Jenner hits the runway during a high-fashion modeling gig, she goes from timid wallflower to hyper-confident supermodel. With her natural beauty and striking features, it's no wonder that the eldest Jenner sister is utterly fearless on the catwalk. Being named Forbes' highest-paid model in the world hasn't hurt in boosting her sense of confidence.

But despite her level of fame and fortune, the supermodel insists that she is a very normal gal. In fact, she has fantasized about living a life away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. "Sometimes I just want to be left alone and be a normal kid for like five minutes," Jenner revealed to Cosmopolitan in 2013 (via Us Weekly.) Want to know more about the brunette beauty? Keep reading to uncover some awesome facts about the supermodel.

Kendall Jenner isn't into celebrity culture

Kendall Jenner has one of the most recognizable names and faces on the planet. Not only is she ranked as the top supermodel in the world, but she's also in one of the world's most well-known celebrity families. Unlike her sisters, though, she isn't always fond of the glitzy spotlight. "They've always been into the glam thing and dressing up every day and being in the thick of it," she told Vogue about her superstar siblings. "Part of me loves that, but at the same time, I love dressing down and having my private life."

Though she is obviously a mega-star, the twentysomething has insisted that she's not even into celebrity culture. Yes, she might be besties with the Hadid sisters as well as Justin and Hailey Bieber, but at the end of the day, Jenner has interests outside of the Hollywood sphere. While most American teeny boppers hang up posters of their favorite pop stars and boy band members, Jenner says that when she was growing up, her interests were more nerdy. "I didn't have famous people on my wall," she said in an interview with W. "I was obsessed with animals, I still am. I'm a nerd. I'm not, like, cool like that. I barely know half of the celebrities' names now," she revealed.

How Kendall Jenner practices self-love

Whether you love the girl or can't stand her, there's no denying the fact that Kendall Jenner is one of the most natural beauties in the game. But even the most successful supermodel on the face of the earth deals with insecurities, just like the rest of us. Having a swarm of haters on her social platforms doesn't exactly help matters. At times, the negativity she receives takes a serious toll on her well-being. "I have cried endlessly for days because of things people have said to me," she told Allure. "And I've had to become stronger through it. ... I am not superhuman. I definitely feel, and the things people say online are very hurtful."

Fortunately, Jenner is always striving to take care of herself, both on the outside and from within. When the reality TV star feels down, she turns to a beautiful method her therapist taught her, one that we can all learn from to improve self-worth. Jenner puts a photo of herself from her childhood on her bathroom wall. While sitting down with Jay Shetty for his "On Purpose" podcast, Jenner detailed this brilliant tactic for whenever she gets self critical, explaining, "If I'm ever looking in the mirror and being negative toward myself... I always look right over to her (the childhood photograph) and I'm like, 'She's dope and I love her.'"

She makes bird noises

While it's admittedly a talent that the Kardashians have managed to stay at the center of the spotlight for so long just for being themselves, critics are quick to dismiss the family as "talentless." Barbara Walters famously told Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé, "You are all often described as famous for being famous. You don't really act, you don't sing, don't dance. You don't have any — forgive me — any talent." Kim responded, "I think it's more of a challenge for you to go on a reality show and get people to fall in love with you for being you."

Despite not having "any talent" practically being a part of her family's brand, Kendall Jenner has a special skill that could put many to shame. What Jenner lacks in the performing arts, she makes up for in her outstanding ability to... wait for it... chirp like a bird. Seriously, when this girl chirps, she sounds so much like a bird, it's uncanny! Just see for yourself in her W magazine interview. "My dad was trying to teach me how to whistle once when we were driving to school, and I couldn't do it, and that's what happened," she told the outlet.

Because of her creepily accurate skill, Elle theorized that KJ is not a person, but instead is a baby bird. To avoid saying which member of Taylor Swift's friend squad she disliked, Jenner even took a sip of bird saliva on "The Late Late Show with James Corden." (She spit it out!)

Her love of chocolate developed much later in life

While many people associate childhood memories with getting sick off of chocolate after trick-or-treating on Halloween, Kendall Jenner is adamant about the fact that she never liked chocolate while growing up. (We can practically hear Kourtney Kardashian gasping in the distance — she's such a fan of chocolate that she made an entire video explaining how to properly eat Kit Kats.)

But super fans of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" know that Jenner has always been very selective about the food that she puts in her body. Furthermore, Jenner has been open about her lifelong struggles with acne, so one of the best ways to mend her skin was to eliminate her dairy consumption as much as possible. She said in an interview with Vogue that while she began eating less dairy, "I love cheese so it's hard for me to cut out cheese."

While appearing on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," the model described her turning point: an occasion where she was so hungry during a flight that she ate chocolate. "We hadn't taken off yet so they didn't have the food out and the only thing I saw was a baby Twix," she told the talk show host. "And I was like, 'You know what, I am desperate, I'm going to try this Twix.' So I tried it and I was like, 'Jesus Christ, this is really good.' ... So I've liked chocolate ever since, I'm obsessed."

Why she considers her anxiety 'a beautiful thing'

Kendall Jenner has always been a strong advocate for mental health awareness. The influencer has bravely used her social media platforms and press time to openly discuss her struggles with panic attacks and anxiety.

In an "Open Minded" session with Vogue, a clinical psychologist told Jenner that her neuroticism gave her a heightened awareness. Despite society regarding neuroticism as a negative trait, Jenner has a thought-provoking perspective on what it means to deal with it: "I consider it like a beautiful thing in a way. ... I like that I am really aware of my body and my mind. I know it can sometimes get the best of me, but I like that I'm in tune and I like that I want to know everything."

The supermodel confessed that she has been dealing with severe panic attacks and anxiety since childhood. "I've had times where I feel like I need to be rushed to the hospital because I think that my heart's failing and I can't breathe and I need someone to help me," Jenner confessed. "Sometimes I think I'm dying." On Hulu's "The Kardashians," the model got a brain scan which proved that she certainly deals with anxiety.

Kendall Jenner is a true believer in love at first sight

The Kardashian family members have a habit of marrying their best friends. Kim Kardashian was just friends with Kanye West for nearly a decade before they became a couple. Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian were really good buddies for more than 10 years prior to their romance. And while falling in love with your best friend can be a very beautiful thing, Kendall Jenner simply can't get down with this sort of romance.

Ms. Jenner, as she explained to Kourtney Kardashian in an interview for Poosh, is one of those individuals who is able to tell immediately whether or not she has feelings for someone. "I'm very much someone who... I'm, like, love at first sight type of person," she explains to her sister. "Like, I know I'm gonna fall in love with you the second I meet you. I have this overwhelming feeling, and that doesn't happen a lot for me. And then, I'm not the kind of person who can like gradually fall in love with someone. ... I don't understand that."

Jenner shared that her direct style of decision-making applies to other aspects of her life, as well. For example, she knows right off the bat whether or not she's passionate about something — like modeling and horseback riding. The second she began doing those things, she was sure they would stick with her for life.

She has four tattoos

While The Kardashian sisters aren't really known for sporting tattoos, Kendall Jenner, once again, is an exception to the rule. The brunette beauty has a total of four tattoos, including one on the inside of her mouth. Jenner's tattoo inside her bottom lip says the word "meow." She told Ellen Degeneres that she had made the decision to get the tat while she was intoxicated. Who knew? In 2022, the star added a little cowgirl boot tattoo on her left ankle.

According to Glamour, Jenner has a white dot on her finger which is meant to symbolize an appreciation for the simple aspects of life. Tattoo artist JonBoy tagged Jenner on Instagram with the hashtag "hillsongnyc," referring to the controversial Hillsong church Jenner and her pals have attended. The artist explained to Refinery29, "To her, it's the little things that matter. The white color was because she didn't want it to show with modeling and all that."

The outlet reported that Jenner also has a broken heart tattoo on her finger, which she got as a friendship tattoo with one of her best friends, Hailey Bieber. On Snapchat, Hailey captioned the picture of the killer tat with their nicknames, writing "Hails n Kenny" (via Refinery29). So cute!

Kendall Jenner has been an introvert since childhood

While the Kardashian/Jenner sisters always seem to be surrounding themselves with friends and family, Kendall Jenner is the obvious exception. She is known by the general public as the introvert of the family, and she seems to get much more fulfillment when it comes to her alone time than she does when surrounded by large groups. This can pose a bit of a complication, since her life as a famous person in a huge family requires her to be with people practically 24/7.

Jenner finds little nuggets of time to spend by herself; in those moments, she is able to find true serenity. She explained how much she adores her alone time during her episode of "On Purpose with Jay Shetty." In the interview, Jenner describes her day of journaling and horseback riding by herself as perfectly ideal. "So Kylie, my little sister, she was always the social butterfly. I was always... I just liked being to myself." She added, "I can vividly remember just on the weekends not running to go be with my friends all the time." Between her horses and her video games, she had plenty of solitary activities to occupy her time.

On "The Kardashians," Jenner even said that because she's so much more likely to spend the night at home than go out, people refer to her as a straight-up grandma: "Everyone calls me Grandma Kenny. It's a thing," she said (via the Daily Mail). "And I'm not ashamed of it." You go, Kenny!

She has a complex relationship with cucumbers

The Kardashians and Jenners have faced an abundance of backlash throughout their years in the limelight. One of the most confusing (albeit hilarious) criticisms about the KarJenner clan has to do with Kendall Jenner's kitchen skills (or lack thereof). In an episode of "The Kardashians," the supermodel was left struggling at the kitchen counter, attempting to slice a cucumber. She just couldn't seem to properly chop the veggie, despite her best efforts. And while you'd think that most people would regard this scene as rather anticlimactic, the internet went wild over the culinary disaster.

Twitter users freely discussed their opinions about the cucumber-cutting dilemma, with some people tweeting that the incident was a downright tragedy. "Kendall Jenner trying to cut a f***ing cucumber is the most tragic thing I've ever witnessed #TheKardashians," tweeted a distraught fan (via Today). Jenner laughed off the comment by replying back, "Tragic!" Her sisters have also poked fun at the incident.

The mega-star took the joke a step further when she dressed up as a — wait for it — cucumber for Halloween. Yep. Fans might expect Jenner to wear a sexy costume, and she did that, too, as "Toy Story 2's" Jessie in denim undies. But on Halloween itself, she transformed into a cucumber slice, writing on Instagram that she would be distributing fruit and vegetables to trick-or-treaters. "Cryin," Hailey Bieber commented. There have been a ton of memorable KarJenner fits over the years, but no look is more special than Jenner's cucumber ensemble. Truly iconic, if you ask us.
