VH1's Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition Season 3: Release Date, Cast, And More Information

The VH1 reality television series "Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition" is back for Season 3, the network has announced. The show, a spin-off of VH1's multiple "Love & Hip Hop" series, follows former cast members of "Love & Hip Hop" and all the drama they bring from being in the same place at the same time. Although not every cast member has been a fan of "Love & Hip Hop," it sounds as though plenty of familiar faces will appear in the upcoming season, according to a press release from VH1 published by The Futon Critic.

Adding to the excitement for Season 3 is the choice of location. As shown in the trailer for the series on the VH1 website, "Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition" takes place in Jamaica. Whether that will prove to be a tropical getaway is still anyone's guess, but here's what VH1 has announced about the forthcoming season.

Cast members and fans are excited for a dramatic season

If the VH1 trailer's teasing "trouble in paradise" isn't enough to draw in viewers, the Twitter conversations about "Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition" Season 3 might. The "Love & Hip Hop" Twitter account shared a video in which the cast members answer questions about what they think will go down in Season 3.

Whether or not their predictions will come true is another story entirely, but many fans have tweeted in response to the announcement of the new season to share what and whom they hope to see when they watch Season 3. Multiple users expressed their excitement at seeing Teairra Mari in the cast, in particular, with one fan tweeting, "MISS NIKKI BABY AND TEAIRA OH I WILL BE SEATED. AND TOKYO BACK?"
