Here's What Dana Perino Looks Like Without Makeup
Journalist and former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino is usually seen with makeup on, given her television appearances on FOX News programs "America's Newsroom with Bill Hemmer & Dana Perino" and talk show "The Five." When she isn't on television, however, it appears that Perino doesn't mind being photographed when she isn't wearing makeup, nor does she look incredibly different without makeup on.
In fact, makeup-free snaps of Perino are easier to come by than for some public figures who might balk at the idea of being seen by others that way — and they aren't from paparazzi photographs, either. Perino has shared Instagram posts of herself without makeup to her followers on the social networking site, even captioning them as such, and it appears that many of her fans have been pleased to see the journalist embrace how she looks when she doesn't happen to have a glam team on hand.
Dana Perino often goes natural with a canine companion
Dana Perino shared a post to her Instagram account back in 2017 with the caption, "Perfectly natural. #jasper." Her dog Jasper can be seen sprawled across her lap in the photo she posted, lying down with one of his paws crossed over Perino's arm. From Perino's appearance, it's clear that she was makeup-free, and one commenter wrote, "Gotta admire a woman confident to wear no makeup for the world to see."
Since then, Perino has shared other photos of herself that appear to be without makeup. In another photo of herself with Jasper that she posted on Twitter in 2020, Perino does not look to have any makeup on, either. One user responded to her tweet by simply saying, "Stunning without makeup." Meanwhile, others were more focused on the dog: "You take a nice photo being all casual and not all made up. Dana does too."
She has been kept from removing her makeup because of her dog
Entertainingly, Dana Perino has had to keep her makeup on because of time spent with her dog on at least one occasion. In 2020, she shared a post to her Facebook page in which she wrote, "I'd get up to take my makeup off, but...the dog. So I just take some selfies." In the photograph that she included in the post, dog Jasper can be seen lounging in her lap, apparently keeping her from getting up to remove the makeup that she has on.
Sadly, Perino revealed in September 2021 that Jasper died at age nine after he was diagnosed with cancer, per Fox News. In November 2021, she introduced her new dog, a puppy named Percy, to her followers on Instagram, writing, "May I introduce you to Percy – our lovely new puppy. Jasper is so missed – he passed the torch yesterday."
Since welcoming Percy, Perino has continued to share selfies and other photos with the dog, appearing with makeup as well as seemingly going without, such as in one Instagram post from June 2022.
