Mel B Hints Spice Girls May Perform At Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Wedding

Are the "Wannabe" singers headed to the royal wedding?

During an appearance on The Real on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, Mel B dropped a major hint that the Spice Girls may perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in the spring.

When the conversation turned to their upcoming nuptials, the former pop star mouthed to her co-hosts, Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, and Jeannie Mai, that she's "going," before admitting, "I don't know if I should have said that live on camera."

As the audience cheered, Mai asked, "Did you get an invitation?" To which Mel B replied, "Well, it was the five Spice Girls. Why am I so honest?" The "2 Become 1" singer went on to say that while it was a "proper" wedding invite, she wouldn't describe it in detail as "that's getting too personal," adding, "I'm not saying any more!"

When asked if the '90s girl group would also be performing at the reception, Mel B simply threw her cards in the air and joked, "I'm going to be fired!" as her co-hosts screamed.

At the time of this writing, Kensington Palace has yet to comment on whether the Spice Girls, who recently sparked rumors of a formal reunion, will indeed take the stage at the royal wedding.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Ed Sheeran was reportedly asked to perform on the royal couple's big day. However, he already has a concert scheduled in Ireland that night. "They said, 'If you were asked, would you say yes?' And I was like, 'Of course,'" the "Perfect" singer recently told BBC News, but added, "Nobody has looked at my tour dates. I'm in Ireland — I can't do it!"

Harry, 33, and Markle, 36, announced their engagement in late November 2017. The cute pair have been together since the fall of 2016, and plan to marry at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle on May 19.
