Why Lisa Rinna And Nicollette Sheridan Don't Get Along

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" fans know that Rinna is fiercely protective of her husband Harry Hamlin. In Season 5, she and former housewife Kim Richards almost got into a brawl during a cast trip to Amsterdam. Richards insinuated that she knew something about the "Mad Men" actor which had Rinna seeing red. The former "Days of Our Lives" star lunged at Richards and yelled, "Never go after my f****** husband," while breaking a glass of wine.

In "RHOBH" Season 9, Hamlin's name got brought up again –- this time by Rinna. During a discussion amongst the housewives, Denise Richards mentioned that her then-boyfriend was still married to Nicollette Sheridan and the two were in the process of getting a divorce. Rinna shared that Sheridan and her husband were linked somehow and brought up some tea about the "Desperate Housewives" star that had many of her cast members shocked.

After Denise Richards shared that Nicollette Sheridan was married to her now-husband Aaron Phyper, Lisa Rinna chimed in and told her castmates that Hamlin had also been married to the "Knots Landing" star for 11 months (via Bravo). However, that wasn't the shocking part. Rinna claimed that Sheridan cheated on Hamlin with singer Michael Bolton after attending his concert, while Hamlin was shooting a role in Canada.

After the "RHOBH" episode aired, Sheridan took to Twitter to refute the accusation. "FAKE NEWS! Harry and I ended our marriage nose to nose in Canada...Michael was a long time friend that was invited to our wedding...Happy Harry found happiness with housewife," she wrote. Hamlin slammed back with, "Re Fake News! What's it called when your wife of one year suddenly goes to bed with a pop singer? ...two weeks after your mother dies?? I did a lotta stuff with my wife "nose to nose" but ending our marriage was not one of them!"

Sheridan replied by tweeting, "Do you really want the truth shared? I appreciate that you want to support your housewife's FAKE NEWS narrative, but the end of our marriage had nothing to do with anyone other than us. Sad you still can't own your part." It seems like a case of he-said-she-said between Sheridan and Hamlin, and the only other person that knows the truth is Bolton.

When Michael Bolton appeared on Andy Cohen's show "Radio Andy," fans were hoping he would clear up the rumors that Nicollette Sheridan had cheated on Harry Hamlin with him. Although he didn't spill any tea on his relationship with Sheridan, he mentioned that he was "aware" of Lisa Rinna. "I would see her at The Beverly Hills Hotel, at The Polo Lounge and she would make a beeline over to me with this big smile on her face and give me this big hug. I really didn't know her personally. And she explained why was because she said, 'If it weren't for you, I would have never gotten together with Harry and, and had a child,'" he revealed. Bolton added that Rinna seemed "so sincere" and they remained friendly.

Since the drama, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" fans have been clamoring to have Sheridan on the show. However, Cohen put a stop to that idea when he said it wouldn't be likely as Rinna might quit, per Monsters & Critics. "Sometimes if you toss around the idea of bringing in an actual enemy of a current cast member, you run the risk of the current cast member saying, 'Okay, well I'm not coming back.' And we've had that situation with other housewives," he stated at the time. Now that Rinna is off "RHOBH," there is a spot open and perhaps Sheridan would consider becoming a housewife.
