What Happened To Stacie The Bartender From The Hills?

Stacie Adams, best known as "Stacie the Bartender" while appearing on "The Hills," was only a minor character but had a major impact on the show. She was filmed flirting with Spencer Pratt during Season 5 of the hit MTV series, which set off Heidi Montag who confronted Adams and called her a "homewrecker," per Access. The following year, Adams was filmed hanging out with Kristin Cavallari as the two bonded. After the show wrapped up, the two remained friends and Adams asked the "Hills" star to be a bridesmaid at her wedding in 2011, per MTV.

Cavallari was not the only reality TV star that Adams befriended. Years after her stint on "The Hills," Adams had a cameo on "Vanderpump Rules" as she was a bridesmaid for cast member Scheana Shay's 2014 wedding, per Bravo. This was not merely a matter of stunt casting, as Adams and Shay had a longstanding friendship.

In 2016, a "VPR" fan tweeted to Shay about her friendship with Adams. Shay said that she was planning a trip to Europe with her husband to visit "The Hills" alum, who had relocated. "Bc she lives in Switzerland! Lol. She was in my wedding!!" the Bravolebrity replied to the fan. Later, the friendship between Shay and Adams made headlines as the "VPR" star revealed the two had a salacious romance with a notable celebrity.

Stacie Adams and Scheana Shay are still friends

In 2020, Stacie Adams made headlines when Scheana Shay spilled steamy details about their past. While appearing on the "Flashbacks" podcast hosted by Heather Rae Young and Jessica Hall — who happens to be Adams' sister — Shay said that she had a romantic tryst with Adams and John Mayer. "We would go to his house in Calabasas, or Hidden Hills, whatever it's called. It just became, you know, kind of the three of us. We had a little throuple going on," the "Vanderpump Rules" star claimed (via Us Weekly). This setup eventually led to a bit of jealousy between Shay and Adams, as Mayer wound up hitting it off with Adams. "I was like, 'Wait, I brought you into this and now you're getting more attention than I'm getting,'" Shay said on the podcast. "And even after he and I stopped talking, they continued talking."

Although there may have been tension between Adams and Shay in the past, the two were able to repair their friendship and remain close. The "Hills" alum invited Shay to her baby shower in 2020, as she welcomed her second child. Adams used the opportunity to gush over her longtime pal. "Scheana Shay has a heart of gold," she told E! News. "Out of all my friends I have met in the industry and in general, she has always stood by me," Adams added.

That was not the only relationship with another reality TV star Adams has formed since "The Hills."

Stacie Adams is also friends with Christina Hall

Stacie Adams has also become close with Christina Hall, as the "Flip or Flop" star married Josh Hall, who is Adams' brother. In December 2021, Christina uploaded an adorable group photo to Instagram with Josh alongside Adams, and her husband Joel while visiting a bar in Tennessee. A couple months later, in February 2022, the couples reunited for another touching family pic — this time including Josh's mother, per People.

Since leaving her "Stacie the Bartender" persona behind, Adams' Instagram page is mostly filled with photos of her children and husband. However, she uploaded a snap alongside her brother and Christina in September 2022 to celebrate their union. Adams' relationship with Christina led to the former "The Hills" star somewhat resurrecting her reality TV career. She and her husband appeared on the first episode of the HGTV star's new show "Christina in the Country," after Christina made a pitch to Josh. "Your sister and Joel are coming over tonight and I feel like it's the perfect opportunity for us to redo their house," she said (via People). Meanwhile, the former bartender was very amenable to the idea. "I mean our house is already beautiful but it hasn't been updated in about 20 years and it could definitely use a Christina-style makeover," Adams said.

Fans of "The Hills" can expect a healthy shot of "Stacie the Bartender" on their TVs in the future.
