Who Is Tristan Thompson's Other Baby Mama?
Tristan Thompson made headlines when he was allegedly caught cheating on his then-pregnant girlfriend, Khloé Kardashian, in April 2018. After video of his apparent infidelity was shared across the world via gossip rags and social media platforms, Keeping up with the Kardashians fans — and people who just plain hate cheaters — felt their hearts break for the Strong Looks Better Naked author, who'd appeared head over heels in love with the NBA player and had expressed much excitement about having a child together. But Thompson's reported New York City tryst may not have been the first time he acted shady toward a baby mama, considering he started dating Kardashian when his now-ex, model Jordan Craig, was pregnant with his first child.
So, just who is this mysterious Jordan Craig? And why haven't we heard much about this woman in the world of celebrity news? Keep reading to learn all about the mother of Thompson's oldest kiddo.
She and Thompson nearly had a sex tape scandal
Tristan Thompson almost had a whole 'nother scandal on his hands during Khloé Kardashian's pregnancy — and Jordan Craig was directly involved in it. In April 2018, The Blast reported that a sex tape of Thompson and Craig together was shopped around to media outlets back in November 2017. The tape in question was reportedly stolen off Craig's phone when she took it to a store to be serviced.
As soon as Craig caught wind of the sex tape's potential sale, she reportedly hired a Los Angeles attorney to regain possession of the footage and destroy it. Though Thompson was reportedly one of the stars of the video, he allegedly did not get involved in the legal drama, despite being made aware of the situation. It's unclear if the video was recorded when Craig and Thompson were together or if it was taped sometime after the two supposedly ended things.
She was pregnant when Thompson started dating Khloe
Some relationships are complicated ... and some are super complicated. Thompson and Kardashian's romance seems to be the latter, considering how they reportedly started dating in 2016, when the athlete's ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig, was pregnant. That's right — Thompson and Kardashian became an item when Craig was busy growing her and Thompson's first child in her womb. No big deal.
However, it's unclear if Craig and Thompson were still together when Kardashian entered the picture. Did they break up before Kardashian and Thompson fell for one another? Or did Thompson cheat on his baby mama with the reality TV star? Maybe Kardashian will divulge this information on a future episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians. Regardless of how Kardashian and Thompson's romance went down, we'd probably feel pretty jaded if we were in Craig's shoes. But life goes on, we guess. Craig gave birth to her and Thompson's child, a son named Prince Oliver, in December 2016.
She has another tie to the Kardashian family
Surprisingly, Jordan Craig has been just one degree away from the Kardashian family on more than one occasion. Before making the news as ex-girlfriend and baby mama of Khloé Kardashian's boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, Craig dated another famous man who surely snagged some exposure just for being associated with the KarJenner crew — "Rack City" rapper Tyga.
Yep, according to Hollywood Life, before Craig dated Cleveland Cavaliers player Thompson, she was getting cozy with Tyga (real name Micheal Ray Stevenson). This is the same Tyga who dated Kardashian's younger half-sister, Kylie Jenner, on and off for years, despite the couple's significant age difference. And it's the same Tyga who fathered a child with Blac Chyna, who then went on to have another baby with Rob Kardashian. Rob, by the way, has claimed Chyna wanted to have a child with him just to get back at Tyga. Yikes! What tangled webs we weave.
She has serious hustle
Like Khloé Kardashian, Jordan Craig is a social media star, though she doesn't quite have as many followers as the Good American businesswoman. To be fair, more than 88 million Instagram followers is an insane amount for any person to have — and Kardashian did have a lot of help thanks to her famous family. Still, Craig's more than 675,000 followers on Instagram is nothing to sneeze at.
But Craig does more than just share photos of her stylish outfits on Instagram. She also runs her very own lifestyle blog, All Eyes on Jordy C, covering fashion, beauty, and motherhood. To top it off, Craig sells fashionable clothes — some of the same ones she wears in her social media posts — online via Big Cartel. While she's clearly carved out a nice little niche for herself on the internet, Craig still battles insecurities about her online gig. "I, personally would look at my friends and even family ... wishing I had their level of education (Masters & Ph'Ds) and their professional careers," she once revealed (via Cosmopolitan). "It literally used to upset me that people would refer to me as 'just an instagram model' when I've never wanted or claimed to be that."
She's connected to a major celebrity
It rings true that everybody really does know everybody in Hollywood — some people are even related! While Kardashian surely has her A-list sisters and mom boosting her status, Craig has perhaps an even bigger star in her corner: actor and comedian Kevin Hart. Though not bound by blood, Craig and Hart are related by marriage. Hart's wife, model Eniko Parrish, whom the Ride Along star married on Aug. 13, 2016, is Craig's first cousin (via Cosmopolitan).
And they appear to be close. Parrish helped throw Craig's baby shower, reported Hollywood Life. On Oct. 9, 2016, Parrish posted a photo from the apparently lavish event on her own Instagram account, celebrating Craig's future as a mom. "Congrats to the #Mommy2BeJordyC," she wrote in the caption. "You're going to be an amazinggggg mommy! (It runs in the family)."
She harbors no ill will toward Khloe
It's not unusual for a person to be somewhat resentful toward their ex's new boyfriend or girlfriend, and while we can't speak for Jordan Craig, she certainly doesn't seem to be holding any grudges against the woman who stole her man's heart. Rather than potentially gloating about Kardashian getting her just desserts after Thompson was caught on film allegedly cheating on her, Craig instead responded to the news with nothing but class.
In a message posted on her Instagram Stories shortly after news about Thompson's alleged infidelity broke, Craig wrote, "If you respect yourself and you respect others, you would never make light of the misfortune of anyone, nor would you feel indemnified when it comes at the expense of others." She added, "Wishing peace for everyone." Does Craig sound super well-adjusted or is it just us? Talk about taking the high road.
She's there if you need her
Khloé Kardashian might be done with Tristan Thompson at the time of this writing (via TMZ), but it seems like Jordan Craig still has the baller's back. On the heels of his split from the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star in February 2019, it was revealed that the fashion blogger had reportedly often opened up her home to Thompson when his relationship would go through a rough patch. "Tristan has crashed at Jordan's house when there have been arguments with Kardashian in the past," a source told Us Weekly. "Khloé has kicked him out several times in recent months."
While this might seem totally out of bounds for the Average Joe, especially one with a longtime girlfriend and baby at home, Thompson presumably didn't see anything wrong with bunking with his ex, as an insider once told the publication that he "doesn't care about anyone besides himself, his wants and his needs in the moment." And hey, he needed a bed. So...
She's known to go into Mama Bear mode
Surprise! Not everyone likes to post their children on social media — including Craig, according to Radar Online. She's apparently so serious about keeping her son off the Internet that she was reportedly "furious" at her ex in 2018, when Thompson shared a photo of his son with his daughter with Khloé Kardashian, True, on Instagram for millions of followers to see. "Jordy is taking the high road and is not going to throw shade on Tristan publicly but she's super pissed about this," an insider told the outlet, adding, "She feels like he used their son for a publicity stunt and she's convinced Khloé is to blame."
The insider went on to say that Craig was "happy" that Thompson had stepped up and agreed to be more hands on with their son, but she apparently wasn't so thrilled with the idea of Kardashian being the stepmom figure. "That's still a very hard pill to swallow," the source shared.
She apparently kept her son away from Kardashian
According to Radar Online, the way that Khloé Kardashian interacted with Prince really bothered the fashion blogger. "Khloé's overstepping the bounds with Jordan's son Prince and Jordan wants her to knock it off before there's a problem," an insider explained to the outlet in June 2018. By the sound of that, you'd think Kardashian had punished the kid or something, but she had basically been spoiling him rotten, per Radar, buying him troves of expensive toys and clothes. "She's even taken family pictures with Prince and that really pissed Jordan off," the source added. (Okay, now that might really be an overstep.)
"Jordan knows this is not Tristan's doing," the insider continued, noting that Thompson had basically been absent from Prince's life just months prior. "Jordan feels like Khloé's using her son to keep Tristan close to her and Jordan is not about to let that happen. She's not cool with Prince being used by Khloé and her family."
Kardashian's alleged behavior reportedly resulted in Craig implementing rules under which Tristan Thompson could see their son. "She's told Tristan that he's welcome to see his son but if and when he does that, she wants him to come to her," the source concluded. So, while Craig may have been fine with Kardashian's relationship with Thompson, she was apparently wasn't so happy with Kardashian's relationship with her son.
