Ariana Grande Returns To Music With 'No Tears Left To Cry'

Ariana Grande is back!

Late on Thursday, April 19, 2018, the pop star released her first track since the devastating attack at her concert in Manchester, England in May 2017, which claimed the lives of 22 people. The song, "No Tears Left to Cry," is the first single off of her upcoming fourth studio album. Its accompanying music video was also released, and, at the time of this writing, has accrued over 4.3 million views on YouTube.

Grande had previously teased the song's release on social media, sharing the track's title before later giving fans a sneak peak at its futuristic music video. Before the posts about her new music, Grande had taken a break from social media, with her last post being from Dec. 31, 2017.

While Grande had previously kept mum online, she did perform at the March for Our Lives rally in Washington, D.C. on March 24. Before that, she'd organized the One Love Manchester benefit concert in June 2017, raising money for those affected by the attack at her May concert before finishing her Dangerous Woman tour.

Regarding her world tour, Grande told Coveteur in October 2017, "Calling it off and going home was not an option. The message of the show was too important. For the crew and everyone involved, it's become more than just a show for us." Calling the Manchester attack "traumatic," she added, "We are really grateful to be here and really grateful for this show."
