Before the bundle of joy was even born, Jay Z and Beyoncé reportedly shelled out $1.3 million to rent a whole floor at New York City's Lenox Hill Hospital (though a rep for the hospital denied the price tag). Moreover, Blue Ivy's crib alone cost a whopping $20,000. That's even more than a ticket to the Renaissance tour!
One of the steepest price tags attached to Blue Ivy's baby presents was a rocking horse made entirely out of gold for $600,000.The gilded stallion was handcrafted by a Japanese luxury jeweler named Ginza Tanaka. Only the best for Blue Ivy, after all. To celebrate the joyous birth, the couple's wide breadth of friends and family were also sending extravagant gifts to the newborn. Talk about a baby shower!

Since the birth of twins Rumi and Sir in 2017, the couple has been giving us peeks into their lives as a family through their projects, like in Beyoncé's visual album for 2019's "Black Is King." Outside of the music, we have seen glimpses of the twins, such as when the "Cuff It" singer posted photos of the family dining at the upscale sushi restaurant Nobu on her Instagram in 2021. Last Halloween season, she also shared the Carters' group costume as the characters from the Disney animated sitcom "The Proud Family" on her Instagram.
