Teen Mom Star Amber Portwood Shares First Photo Of Newborn Son

Amber Portwood is introducing her second child to the world.

On Wednesday, May 9, 2018, the Teen Mom star took to Instagram to share the first photo of her newborn son, James.

"Big Sis and little James!" she wrote, captioning a sweet snapshot of her 9-year-old daughter, Leah, holding her baby brother. "She was so excited to meet her little brother."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Portwood, 27, and her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, welcomed their first child together at 1:39 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8. Their little bundle of joy weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces at the time of his birth. The reality TV star shares her first child, Leah, with ex-fiancé Gary Shirley.

Portwood confirmed her pregnancy in early November 2017. "Thank you everyone for all the kind words," she tweeted at the time, addressing rumors that she was expecting again. "I'm very excited for my future with Andrew and our little family we are starting together!"

"When I first found out, I was a little scared," the proud mom, who announced the baby's gender on Instagram the following month, told Us Weekly. "I just kind of sat down and thought about it and realized that it was a big step in my life and it was a good thing actually, and I was really happy within 30 minutes." She noted that "after the initial shock" there were "nothing but happy thoughts."

Amid reports that she had gone into labor on Monday, May 7, Portwood tweeted to her fans, "He's coming!!"
