Tiger Woods' Ex-Wife Elin Nordegren Has Moved On Since Their Messy Divorce

Tiger Woods' career has been rife with scandal over the years. Though the golfer has somewhat managed to get his professional career back on track, despite some intense injuries, it's hard to forget a time when his name was plastered all over the gossip columns for his multiple affairs while married to Elin Nordegren.

Woods confessed to his many indiscretions during a lengthy press conference in February 2010, saying in part, "I knew my actions were wrong. But I convinced myself that normal rules didn't apply. I never thought about who I was hurting. Instead, I thought only about myself." He also had nothing but praise for Nordegren, the mother of his son, Charlie Woods, and daughter Sam Woods, and made it very clear she didn't deserve any of the blame for his actions. "Elin has shown enormous grace and poise throughout this ordeal. Elin deserves praise, not blame. The issue involved here was my repeated irresponsible behavior," he said. "I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated. What I did is not acceptable. And I am the only person to blame."

The two officially finalized their divorce six months later and continued to keep things civil in a joint statement, confirming the official end of their romance by saying, "We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future." But what really happened for Nordegren after that?

Elin Nordegren found love again after Tiger Woods

Thankfully for Elin Nordegren, she didn't let her negative experience with Tiger Woods get the better of her. Following her split with Woods, Nordegren dated businessman Chris Cline. They were on and off until 2017, after which she moved on with NLF player James Cameron (who played for the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins), finding love all over again. Page Six reported the two met in Miami at Art Basal and starting dating, before moving in together in the Sunshine State.

The two have kept their romance pretty private, but they couldn't hide it when Nordegren announced they were expecting in 2019. It was confirmed that summer that Nordegren was expecting her third child (her first with Cameron). Us Weekly shared candid snaps of the two looking loved up on the golf course — we love to see her still enjoying golf after all her drama with her ex — as she showed off her bump. Nordegren gave birth that October to a son, Arthur. The couple have stayed under the radar ever since, with a source telling Us Weekly that it's very much intentional. "Elin maintains a low profile and has a normal, boring life," they said. "Florida allows her to live that quiet life."

Part of that "boring" life also included the former model working hard. In May 2014, the star proved she's got incredible beauty and brains when she told Orlando Sentinel she'd earned herself a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Elin Nordegren is on great terms with Tiger Woods

Despite so firmly moving on from their romance, Elin Nordegren is still on great terms with her former husband, Tiger Woods. He got candid about how well he and his ex co-parent their two children during a 2016 appearance on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," admitting the former model still had his back. "She's been one of my best friends and I've talked to her about so many different things and she does the same thing with me back and forth," he shared. "We communicate so much better now, it's incredible. I wish we would have done that earlier on, but it's been incredible to have a best friend like that."

A People source doubled down on that sentiment two years later, confirming their strong platonic relationship was still going strong. "Everything that happened in the past is in the past. They both decided to be adults and to do what was best for the kids. So they get along really well," they shared, claiming the exes were even closer than they were when they were a couple.

And while we know Nordegren found love again, so did her former husband. Woods began dating Erica Herman in 2017 and the couple have been going strong ever since.
