Chance The Rapper Is Engaged

Chance the Rapper is getting hitched!

On Wednesday, July 4, 2018, the "No Problem" rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Jonathan Bennett, took to social media to announce that he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Kirsten Corley.

"She said yes," he simply tweeted out to his nearly 8 million followers. Earlier in the evening, a video of the three-time Grammy winner popping the question in the middle of a Fourth of July barbecue surfaced on Instagram. "Kirsten Katrina Corley, will you make me a man and be my wife?" he can be heard asking his now-fiancée, as the cute couple's close family and friends excitedly cheered.

According to Us Weekly, Chance and Corley began dating in 2013 and share 2-year-old daughter Kensli. While the 25-year-old musician, who made headlines last year when he donated $1 million to Chicago schools, is notoriously private about their relationship, he couldn't help but gush over Corley in a sweet birthday message in late May 2018.

"From the beginning beginning to the end end. You are my oldest and best friend. You are responsible for everyone of the most wonderful things in my life," he wrote on Instagram, captioning a series of snapshots of the family of three. "I'm forever grateful that God made me find you, and even more grateful that you made me find God. Forever and ever babe. Happy Birthday."

While the newly engaged pair move forward in their relationship, a number of other celeb couples have sadly called it quits on theirs in recent weeks. British singer-songwriter Sam Smith reportedly split from actor Brandon Flynn of 13 Reasons Why just last week. Meanwhile, Alexis and Jim Bellino of the Real Housewives of Orange County announced their divorce after 13 years of marriage in late June.
