Christy Turlington's Daughter Grace Burns Is Practically Her Twin

The supermodels of the '90s were lauded as true style icons of their time, including Christy Turlington — whose daughter is now the spitting image of her.

From strutting down catwalks for high-profile designers to appearing on the covers of major magazines, Turlington was a part of the exclusive group that once dominated the fashion world and each member cemented their legacy. The "Magnificent Seven" consisted of Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Claudia Schiffer, and Elle Macpherson, per The New York Times. After attaining great success in print and on the runway, many of these women focused on their personal lives and started their own families, including Turlington herself.

In 2003, Turlington married her husband Ed Burns, per People. They share two kids, daughter Grace Burns and son Finn Burns. Despite the fact that Turlington's past career puts looks front and center, she's been intentional about setting a positive example with self-image. In a 2018 piece for InStyle, she said, "I would never want my kids to be raised by someone who is nervous about the way they appear or to put in that much time and attention." Turlington clearly cared about instilling authentic confidence in her daughter Grace, who has taken after her mom in more ways than one.

Christy Turlington and Grace Burns don't only look alike

As it turns out, Christy Turlington and her daughter Grace Burns look a lot alike. At W Magazine's 50th anniversary party in 2022 (via the Daily Mail), the two beauties looked as glamorous as ever. Posing side by side, they stunned in all-black outfits. Their simple ensembles highlighted their similar features. From their brown hair to their defined cheekbones, Turlington and Burns share some key physicalities.

However, Turlington and Burns' similarities go beyond just their looks. Burns has also followed in her mother's footsteps by developing a modeling career. Ever since pursuing her passion, Burns has appeared in numerous ads and magazines. Her Instagram page is packed with pictures from various photo shoots. In April 2023, the model shared a series of black-and-white images for designer Carolina Herrera. She looked elegant and classy, gracefully holding a handbag. Turlington even posed for a pic with Burns. Flashing subtle smiles with their hair tied up, the mother-daughter duo clearly resemble one another.

Grace Burns and Christy Turlington both started modeling young

Just like her mom, Grace Burns has found success as a young model. In an interview with Homme Girls, she revealed that her mom let her start modeling at 18. "That was the age my mom always had in mind, and I wouldn't have it any other way," Burns recalled. "I remember denying the interest to anyone and everyone." Christy Turlington is incredibly proud of her daughter and often shares professional photos of Burns on Instagram. In a March 2022 post, she wrote, "Can't take any credit or responsibility for this, other than having birthed this wonder to the world and given her the family name she carries with its full meaning and representation."

Turlington can relate to Burns' journey, as she also began modeling at a young age. According to DuJour Magazine, the supermodel got off to an even earlier start at 14 but quit at 25. She told the outlet, "I thought, you know what? I'd rather end it when I want to end it, rather than somebody else doing it for me." After over two decades, Turlington came back to the catwalk, closing out a Marc Jacobs show in 2019, per People. Burns was in awe of the moment, as it was her first fashion show. She told Homme Girls, "The whole evening was surreal for me, witnessing the magic of his presentation up close and watching my mom make her return to the runway."
