Pregnant Hilary Duff Says Her Son Is 'On The Fence' About Baby No. 2

Hilary Duff can't wait to welcome her second child, but her son, Luca, may not be as excited about becoming a big brother.

During her Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, appearance on the Today show, the Younger star opened up about awaiting the arrival of baby no. 2.

"He's, you know, on the fence," Duff jokingly said of 6-year-old Luca, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie. "But I think that everything will be fine when she arrives."

In the meantime, the 30-year-old actress-singer is ready to expand her family. "Everything is good. I'm ready for school to start I think like every other mom. I'm looking for a little more structure right now," she said, adding, "In this late stage, you're, like, tired of running around and stuff, but we're ready. I'm so excited."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Duff first announced that she and boyfriend Matthew Koma, 31, were expecting their first child together, a baby girl, in early June 2018. While sharing a sweet snapshot of the two on Instagram, the Disney Channel alum wrote, "Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn't be more excited!!!!!!" For his part, the dad-to-be posted the same pic on social media, writing, "We made a baby girl! She will be as beautiful and sweet as her mother... @hilaryduff another incredible chapter begins."

The "So Yesterday" singer isn't the only member of her famous family to announce exciting baby news this year. Just days before Duff revealed her pregnancy, she became an aunt for a second time when her older sister, Haylie, welcomed baby no. 2 with fiancé Matt Rosenberg. The proud mom, who also shares 2-year-old daughter Ryan with Rosenberg, gave birth to a baby girl named Lulu on June 5.

At the time, Hilary gushed over her newborn niece on social media. "Beautiful LuLu welcome sweet girl," she wrote alongside an adorable photo of little Lulu. "My new niece has arrived! @haylieduff she's perfection."
