Good Morning America's Lara Spencer Marries Longtime Boyfriend Rick McVey

Good Morning America co-host Lara Spencer has tied the knot!

On Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, the television personality married her fiancé, MarketAxess CEO Rick McVey, in Vail, Colo., People reports.

The cute pair exchanged their vows in front of 135 of their closest family and friends during the romantic ceremony, which was held outside. In a video shared by the magazine's Editor-in-Chief, Jess Cagle, the Flea Market Flip host can be seen walking down the aisle to Christina Perri's hit "A Thousand Years." Accompanied by her teenage son, Duff, Spencer donned a gorgeous lace, mermaid-style wedding dress by designer Adam Zohar.

"We actually had just enough fabric for one dress for Lara Spencer," the Israeli designer told E! News, explaining that Spencer recently put in the request for her dress because her initial gown was not entirely what she'd had in mind. "In one week we created a new dress and shipped it to New York. And she's happy."

According to Us Weekly, Spencer's two children, Duff and teen daughter Katharine, as well as McVey's three adult daughters, performed readings during the ceremony.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Spencer, 49, and McVey, 58, announced their engagement in January 2018 after sparking dating rumors in 2017. "She's known him for years," a source told Us Weekly last year after the two were seen packing on the PDA while out on a date in New York City. "And they started dating around a year ago." The happy couple were reportedly set up on a blind date by a mutual friend after Spencer finalized her divorce from former CNN reporter David Haffenreffer in 2015 after 15 years of marriage.

Spencer and McVey aren't the only celeb pairing to celebrate their nuptials in recent weeks. In mid-August, rapper 2 Chainz tied the knot with his girlfriend and mother of his children, Kesha Ward, at the Villa Casa Casuarina. Meanwhile, actress Hilary Swank secretly married boyfriend Philip Schneider at the Saint Lucia Preserve in Carmel, Calif.

Congratulations to Spencer and McVey!
