Lady Gaga Finally Confirms Christian Carino Engagement

Lady Gaga has officially set the record straight on her marital status.

While speaking at Elle's 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in Los Angeles on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, the Mother Monster finally confirmed her engagement to fiancé Christian Carino following nearly a year of speculation, People magazine reports.

While being honored at the event, Gaga, who's real name is Stefani Germanotta, notably thanked her "fiancé Christian."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, rumors that Gaga, 32, and Carino, 49, were engaged first surfaced in November 2017. At the time, a source cited by Us Weekly claimed that Carino had asked Gaga's father for permission to marry the pop star months earlier. The Hollywood talent manager reportedly popped the question sometime that summer. According to E! News, the "Paparazzi" singer was later seen sporting a gorgeous ring on her left hand, which only further fueled speculation. However, the notoriously private pair remained mum on the matter until now.

Gaga, who had called off her engagement to Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney in July 2016, was first romantically linked with Carino in February 2017. At the time, the two were spotted together as she prepared for her incredible Super Bowl halftime show performance. The Grammy Award winner later gave fans a rare look at the couple's blossoming romance during a September 2017 concert, which was held outside on a rainy day in New York City. According to Page Six, the "Million Reasons" hitmaker told the audience, "When I went backstage, Christian was by the stairs making sure I was OK. The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall."

Apart from her relationship news, Lady Gaga's been making headlines in recent weeks for her critically-acclaimed performance opposite Bradley Cooper in their remake of A Star Is Born.

Congratulations to Lady Gaga and Christian Carino on their engagement!
