Pose Star Kate Mara Reportedly Expecting First Child With Husband Jamie Bell

Pose star Kate Mara is reportedly pregnant!

On Wednesday evening, Jan. 9, 2019, multiple media outlets reported that the House of Cards alum is expecting her first child with her husband and former Fantastic Four co-star, Jamie Bell.

According to a source cited by Page Six, Mara was allegedly overheard sharing the exciting baby news with Mary Poppins Returns star Emily Blunt while attending the 2019 Golden Globes over the weekend, where she concealed her growing baby bump in a gorgeous Miu Miu dress. She is reportedly five months along in her pregnancy.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Mara, 35, and Bell, 32, tied the knot in a surprise ceremony held at their neighbor's home in July 2017. After meeting on the set of Fantastic Four in 2014, the notoriously private pair were first romantically linked while attending a Met Gala after party together the following year, and later got engaged in January 2017 (via E! News). "Nuptials," Mara tweeted following the couple's big day, alongside a smoky snapshot of the married pair sharing a kiss. For his part, Bell posted the same pic at the time, writing, "Me & Mrs B."

At the time of this writing, Mara and Bell have yet to publicly comment on the actress' reported pregnancy. 

While this is Mara's first child, the Billy Elliot actor is already a dad to five-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood. During an interview with Us Weekly in July 2018, Mara opened up about being a step-mom to little Jack, saying, "I come from a really, really big family and I've had kids around me my entire life. Family is everything to me and I like being surrounded by lots of kids and family at all times."

A number of other celeb pairings have shared baby announcements of their own following the New Year, including Counting On star Jessa Duggar Seewald. Earlier this week, she and husband Ben Seewald announced that they're expecting baby no. 3's arrival this spring. The proud parents, who are already mom and dad to sons Spurgeon Elliot, 3, and Henry Wilberforce, 23 months, both predict their unborn child will be another boy.

"We are overjoyed that God has blessed us with a baby," Jessa shared with the couple's fans in a blog post, adding, "If our predictions are right, then we already have a ton [of] the clothing and accessories ready to pass down!"
