Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher's Kids Are Growing Up Fast

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are one of Hollywood's biggest power couples. The pair first met on the set of That '70s Show where they played on-again, off-again couple Jackie Burkhart and Michael Kelso for years. However, their on-screen chemistry faded the moment the cameras stopped rolling. The two actually couldn't stand each other over the course of the show's run. However, after years apart, the two reconnected in 2012 following Kutcher's super public split from Demi Moore – and they've been inseparable ever since.

Even though it took years for the former co-stars to realize their feelings for each other, the two wasted no time starting a family. In 2014, they welcomed their first child into the world, daughter Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher. Just two years later, they announced the birth of their son, Dimitri Portwood Kutcher. We'd say that Wyatt and Dimitri are growing up quickly right before our eyes, but the famous parents don't really show their kids off in public — and for good reason. So how are Kunis and Kutcher's little ones are growing up outside of the public eye?

When it comes to their kids, mum's the word

If you do a Google search on Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's kids, you're only going to find a handful of photos — some of them with their faces blurred. And turning to social media won't prove to be any more fruitful. Kunis isn't on Instagram at all, and even though her hubby has an account, you won't see their kids popping up on your timeline. Since their kids are so young — as of this writing Wyatt is 5-years-old and Dimitri is two-years-old — they want to protect them as best they can. They both know the struggle of growing up in front of the world at a young age and don't want that for their kids just yet.

"My wife and I have chosen a career where we're in the public light, but my kids have not," Kutcher told Arianna Huffington on the Thrive Global Podcast. "I think they should have the right to choose that and I actually don't think that they should have images of them as children that are out there, that somebody could potentially blackmail them with. It's their private life; it's not mine to give away."

However, the couple doesn't completely shy away from sharing tidbits about their kids, seeing as every once in a while Kutcher will offer a glimpse into his life as a parent of two.

The kids get to spend a lot of time with mom and dad

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher aren't regular parents, they're cool parents. And even though they keep their kids out of sight, they're always on their mindg. "I schedule my time with my kids," Kutcher said during his keynote address at the Third Annual City Summit at Universal Studios in Hollywood (via Entertainment Tonight). "I make those blocks, hard and fast in my calendar, and I don't move them." Those scheduled blocks of time are filled with everything from trips to the zoo to snuggling up with a good book.

"We used to be like, 'What's the coolest club?'" Kunis told Entertainment Tonight. "And [now] I'm like, 'Let me tell you about the zoo in Atlanta and the bouncy house.' There's not one kid activity that I haven't done yet with my child! We have a public library card everywhere we go. When it is really hot outside, we go to the library and read books."

Soon, their children might be able to read those books in a different language. Before Wyatt was 3-years-old, she could understand at least three languages: Russian, Spanish, and English. Kunis was born in Russia and sometimes speaks Russian to her children. And she and Kutcher also sings songs in Spanish to the their little ones. Talk about some worldly kids!

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are raising their kids to be good people

Even though Wyatt and Dimitri are growing up surrounded by the fame and fortune that comes with having two A-list parents, the most important thing to Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher is that they're good people. As Kunis bluntly put it, "We're not going to raise a**holes" (via Elle). It's part of the reason why they're raising their kids to not expect presents on Christmas and they don't plan on allowing them to become trust fund babies.

And from what Kutcher shared about his proudest parenting moments during his keynote address at the Third Annual City Summit in 2018, it seems he and Kunis are on the right track.

"So, watching my daughter make a decision about whether or not she's going to share a cookie is a weird thing," Kutcher said (via Entertainment Tonight). "I know she's like, 'I want this mother f***en cookie,' and then she independently shares it. I'm like, 'Cool, you just made a sacrifice.' If nothing [else] comes from my kids, [let it be] understanding how to make sacrifices and be generous. To me, those are the most memorable things."
