Where Does Adam Lambert Live And How Big Is His House?

There are probably plenty of things you don't know about Adam Lambert, but one thing is certainly clear: he's the kind of person who always stays true to himself. "Be who you want to be — be free in your own skin, be liberated and feel beautiful," the singer once said, according to New York City Pride. Perhaps that's why he seems to be changing things up when it comes to his personal life. Not only has the former American Idol star (and rather wealthy celeb) embraced a new look that's turning heads, but he's also looking to sell his fabulous Los Angeles home.

In March 2020, Fox Business reported that Lambert listed his L.A. property for $3.35 million. While that may sound like a lot, it's actually quite a bit less than what the star was originally hoping to get for his home. He had previously put the residence up for sale in May 2019 for 3.595 million, according to the Los Angeles Times, after trying to sell it in 2017 for $3.995 million, which was $1 million more than he paid for the property three years prior to that.

If you happen to have a few million in the bank and are interested in living in Lambert's former adobe, here's what you'll get for that price.

Adam Lambert's Los Angeles home is a contemporary dream

Whoever is lucky enough to purchase Adam Lambert's Los Angeles home (if he finds a buyer this time around) will be able to enjoy a stunning contemporary house that includes plenty of features and amenities that make the home a dream residence.

Spanning around 3,800 square feet, the house, which was built in 1947, was "renovated and expanded" to its current size just a few years ago, according to the Los Angeles Times. Featuring three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms, the master suite includes a walk-in closet and "a marble-clad bath." There's also a "broad island" in the kitchen, which is a space where guests will find marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. Beyond that, there's a climate-controlled wine wall and a theater in the home, as well as floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that lead out to the rest of the property which stretches across 9,200 square feet and boasts "an entertainer's backyard with reflecting pools, a spa, and a covered patio."

As impressive as that all that is, it's the sights from the outdoor area that may be one of the biggest selling points due to the fact that the "[v]iews from the property take in the canyon and city lights." Perhaps it even offers a glimpse of Lambert's other home, which isn't too far away.

Adam Lambert owns another Hollywood Hills property

If Adam Lambert ever does manage to sell his house, he'll still have a place to stay in the area seeing as how he owns a second residence that's only a mile away.

In September 2018, Lambert snapped up a two-story, 5,000-square-foot house for $6.5 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. Completed in 2016 and sitting on a quarter of an acre of land, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom home features a master suite that boasts its own balcony, while the main living area includes "[p]ocketing doors" which "bring the outdoors into the open-space floor plan." The interior also features a "center-island kitchen, where two sides of unfolding glass flank the space." Along with a living room that has a built-in fireplace, there's also a separate dining area as well as a wine closet.

When Lambert wants to spend some time outdoors, he can enjoy his covered patio and outdoor kitchen, as well as the turf lawn (yes, turf) that "turns into an infinity-edge pool and spa with canyon views." Considering that Lambert has this piece of paradise, it's no wonder that he doesn't need his other fabulous L.A. home. Although, honestly, we wouldn't mind having both... if we could afford them.
