The Untold Truth Of Rhonda Paul From Too Hot To Handle

For those who haven't yet heard of Netflix's new reality series, Too Hot to Handle, it follows a group of 20-something singles competing for a jackpot of $100,000 grand prize. "10 hot singles from around the world come together in a tropical paradise for what they think will be the most exotic and erotic summer of their lives," the streaming service describes. "But there's a twist."

As for this surprise twist? "No kissing, no heavy petting, and no self-gratification" are allowed, and for every slip-up, money is deducted from the jackpot. Eep.

Spoiler alert: One contestant who endured this tough challenge is Rhonda Paul, a single mom from Atlanta, Ga. Although Rhonda initially struggled with the game's restrictions, as she had chemistry with both David Birtwistle and Sharron Townsend, she ultimately made an emotional connection with Sharron. The New Jersey native asked Rhonda to be his girlfriend during a romantic boat ride, and he even met her young son, Amari, over FaceTime.

So what do we know about the woman who captured Sharron's heart? We've uncovered some compelling details about Rhonda Paul.

Rhonda Paul is a business owner

When Rhonda Paul isn't starring on reality TV, she's growing her jewelry business, PureLuXX. "We pride ourselves on providing the best accessories," the company's Instagram bio reads.

Not only is Rhonda branching out into retail, but she also has an impressive background in the restaurant industry. She has been the manager of Pappadeaux restaurant since 2014, and she previously managed Nascar eatery, per her LinkedIn page. "Dedicated, hardworking restaurant management professional with extensive daily planning and operations experience," her bio reads. "Skilled in staff training, development, and management. Highly proactive manager with 8 years of experience in team leadership in the restaurant, sales and hospitality industries."

Before working in the hospitality business, Rhonda attended Old Dominion University, where she received her bachelor's degree in sociology. The rising reality star participated in many activities while there, like volunteering for the American Red Cross and participating in the group, Future Business Leaders of America.

It looks like Rhonda is creating a successful future for herself and her son, Amari.

Are Rhonda and Sharron still together?

The million-dollar question is whether Rhonda Paul and Sharron Townsend stayed together after the show. Although the two have remained quiet about their dating status (it looks like they're following Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey's lead), there is speculation they're still an item. The evidence? The two still follow one another on Instagram and like each other's posts as of this writing, as Style Caster noted. Hmm.

In the meantime, it sounds like Rhonda is focused on herself and Amari. "Never compare yourself to others, acknowledge the positive within yourself, reflect on the best parts of yourself," she captioned an Instagram selfie shared on April 19, 2020. The mom also created an Instagram account for Amari and teased that he has a clothing line on the way.
