The Truth About Debby Ryan And Josh Dun's Relationship
Rumor has it that Insatiable actress Debby Ryan and Twenty One Pilots drummer Josh Dun are secretly married. iHeartRadio addressed the speculation when the band dropped a music video for their song "Level of Concern" on April 9, 2020. At the 56-second mark, Dun has a ring on his left hand, leaving many people to wonder if it's a wedding band. As of this writing, Ryan and Dun have yet to comment on the theory, but that doesn't quell the fan anticipation of their wedding.
The couple got engaged in New Zealand in December 2018. In October 2019, Ryan talked about the proposal in a SiriusXM interview. She shared, "There were all these beautiful details about this day that he kind of really surprised me with. As someone who isn't much of a planner, he just blew me away." Specifically, she revealed, "He designed the ring and he flew my brother and sister-in-law out with the ring. It was [in] a treehouse, which has a lot of significance to us." During that interview, she shared that they met through a mutual friend.
Reportedly, the couple had been in an on-again-off-again relationship since 2013, becoming Instagram official in September 2013. In March 2015, Ryan tweeted that she was "Single and not tryna mingle." However, that obviously, wasn't the end of their story. In 2016, she confirmed a reconciliation in an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, sharing, "I'm in love and very happy. We've evolved and grown so much in our careers, in the relationship, as people since we first met."

While the jury is still out on whether or not Debby Ryan and Josh Dun's wedding has already happened, it is very clear that these two are not into an over-the-top, large wedding. This is something that the Disney Channel alum has emphasized on more than one occasion. In February 2019, she told The New York Post, "If it was up to me, I would have a 20-person wedding." Still, she is realistic, admitting to the newspaper, "I'm sure it will be broader than I'm anticipating, but I want to make sure that the heartbeat of intimacy will be there." She also summarized the wedding planning as "[her] conceptualizing and him saying yes or no." That sounds about right.
In October 2019, Ryan dished on wedding plans during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan. Just Jared Jr. reported that she told the hosts, "I don't really know [what size of a wedding], we're still figuring it out." She explained why it's so difficult to just have the wedding that they want when she said, "We're both public facing people and I think it's really important for us to maintain the intimacy of it, but there's a lot in our lives."
