In an interview with Us Weekly in June 2020, the MTV reality star shared how she capitalized on her time at home to get in great shape. But Chloe hasn't done this alone — she admitted that she's received help and support from her Siesta Key's co-star, Garrett Miller, who just so happens to be a personal trainer!

According to the magazine, Chloe said, "I lost almost 30 pounds during the quarantine. Garrett's been helping a lot. It's more of a lifestyle change for me." She added, "I'm just eating better, being more active and I'm happier. So that helps too."

When asked how she began such an endeavor, Chloe revealed, "So the biggest start was getting all the junk food out of my house and only having clean food at home. And when I'm out, I just choose. Are there options on the menu?" In terms of moving her body, Chloe likes to keep it simple. According to Us Weekly, she aims "to do something active five to six days a week."

What inspired such a dramatic change? Chloe shared the single moment that inspired her weight-loss journey.

How Chloe Trautman decided to change her lifestyle

Chloe Trautman, one of our favorite MTV stars from Siesta Key, opened up about her transformative weight-loss journey during quarantine. Chloe lost about 30 pounds thanks to a sensible diet, regular exercise, and lots of motivation from co-star Garrett Miller.

While this is commendable, Chloe actually had a moment of awakening that prompted the healthy switch. According to Us Weekly, Chloe said it happened while she was vacationing in Aspen in March with some of her co-stars. They stayed at the home of Sam Logan, Juliette Porter's boyfriend.

Chloe explained, "We were skiing and I was so out of shape, it bothered me so much. I wanted to ski, but I physically couldn't." She added, "That's when I was like, 'OK, this is not normal.' Like, I want to be able to go down a mountain at least one time. It was hard for me to even, like, walk around with ski boots. I was like, this is not how it's supposed to be."

In the same interview, she also mentioned that she's feeling "happier" than before by surrounding herself with a supportive crew: "I've shed a lot of negative people in my life. I think that reflects on how I look too."

What an amazing goal to achieve. You go, Chloe!
