90 Day Fiancé's Jasmine Pineda Looks Nearly Unrecognizable Today
A lot has happened since "90 Day Fiancé" star Jasmine Pineda's up-and-down relationship with Gino Palazzolo made her a popular figure among reality TV fans. For starters, Pineda and Palazzolo aren't together anymore, having split just months after tying the knot in June 2023. After starring in Season 5 and Season 6 of "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days," she has moved on and started a new family. Along with the many life changes, Pineda has also undergone a physical transformation.
Since her divorce from Palazzolo, the Panamanian beauty has found love again in Matt Branistareanu. Together, they started a family in March 2025, when Pineda gave birth to their daughter, Matilda. Postpartum affects women's bodies in many ways, and it had a very physical impact on her hair health. Pineda, who had previously disclosed her struggles with alopecia areata in an Instagram post in October 2023 and discussed it on "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?" in May 2024, experienced a massive flare-up of the autoimmune disorder that causes hair loss after having her daughter. "I didn't feel like I wanted to deal with hair loss at this very vulnerable stage of my life," she said in a "90 Day Fiancé" clip. Her bold decision didn't change anything in terms of beauty. As her Instagram pictures show, Pineda is as gorgeous as ever. In fact, the bald look makes her facial features stand out even more. Pineda has embraced her shaved head and fallen in love with her newfound freedom. She can also take comfort in knowing that she's not the only celeb who has struggled with hair loss.

Jasmine Pineda's struggle with alopecia areata isn't new. Throughout her life, she has relied on wigs to handle the hair loss. "90 Day Fiancé" fans noticed it at times. Some even made fun of her for it, which Pineda addressed after her appearance on the Season 5 "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Tell All" in 2022. "For those making fun of my wig. Babes, I almost didn't participate in the Tell All just because of the massive amount of hair I've been losing lately. I got the wig hours before filming," she explained on Instagram. Her critics might not realize just how much of the celebrity hair they see isn't real; for example, Cher wears wigs all the time.
Since shaving her head, Pineda has relied less heavily on wigs. But that doesn't mean she has ditched them for good. As the above picture from October 2026 shows, she often rocks different styles that capture her different moods. While she rocked a curly wig on that occasion, she sometimes wears straight ones and even some with bangs. In August 2026, she wore the latter for a summer outing, but the wig didn't make it through the day thanks to the heat.
Pineda addressed the situation on her socials, proving she isn't afraid to be open about her decision to wear them and also not wear them. "You finally get out of the house, but it's so hot you have to take out your wig," she captioned the Instagram post, which included pictures of her before and after. Her fans love her attitude amid her hair loss issues. "Beautiful with or without a wig," a fan commented on the post.
