By 2003, they had called off their engagement. Together, they share one son, Kassius. The parents spent years entangled in a nasty custody battle over their only child.
In the comments section of a September 2020 Instagram post, Marcil opened up about her complicated relationship with her ex. The star shared an old photo of Green with his arms wrapped around her very pregnant belly. One fan commented, "I think you're still in love with Brian Austin Green" (via US Weekly). Marcil was quick to shut that rumor down. "I was never in love with him," she replied (via People). Umm ... ouch. The outlet reported that in early August 2020, he shared a sardonic Instagram post mocking the happy couple.
On Aug. 5, 2020, Fox shared a photo of Machine Gun Kelly with the caption, "Achingly Beautiful Boy... My heart is yours." The same day, Green shared a picture of the three children he shares with Fox with the caption, "Achingly beautiful boys...... My heart is yours," seemingly alluding to the fact that she is more concerned with her boyfriend than her kids. "It definitely annoys Brian," a source told People, "And it stings a bit too that Megan moved on so quickly."
Fox seemingly remained unbothered, though, and continued to show her love for the rapper on social media. It's been a point of contention for Green, but his ex-wife, Vanessa Marcil, had nothing but nice things to say about Fox's attitude.
In September 2020, Marcil shared a screenshot of a conversation that she had with a fan on her Instagram Stories during a Q&A session, per People. In the exchange, the fan asked about Fox, and Marcil replied: "I actually have respect for how @meganfox is finally living her life for herself & leaving her children out of her public life at this young age." As of this writing, Fox has yet to publicly respond to Marcil's comments, but hopefully the feeling is mutual.
