Lindsay Lohan Was Scared Her Ex Would Splash Acid In Her Face

Lindsay Lohan's melodrama continues. The troubled starlet, 30, sat down with Russian television station Channel One to talk about her allegedly abusive relationship with Russian businessman Egor Tarabasov, 23.

"I went to bed and he broke into my house. He started strangling me," she said about their massive fight in July 2016. "I feared that Egor may splash acid in my face. I jumped out to the balcony and shouted, 'He's trying to kill me, call the police!'" The Daily Mail reports Lohan was paid close to $843,000 for her appearance on the talk show.

It's not the first time she's opened up about the alleged violence in her relationship with her former fiancé. "I realize now you can't stay in a relationship just for love," Lohan told the Daily Mail in August 2016. "No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn't prepared to say sorry." When asked about a physical altercation the pair had in Mykonos, Greece, in July 2016, Lohan told the Daily Mail, "Egor drank too much and he went crazy." That feud was caught on video.

Tarabasov has remained silent, until recently. "It has come to my attention that my former fiancée, Lindsay Lohan, is planning new smear campaign against me in the Russian and international media," he said in a statement. "My relationship with Lindsay came to an end in July 2016. In the weeks that followed, there were numerous attempts to discredit my name by inaccurately portraying the nature of our relationship, publishing distorted facts, and making false accusations."

He continued, "I decided not to address those harmful and false statements at that time. As an international businessman, I aim to maintain a low profile and concentrate on developing my business. I also chose to keep my silence out of respect for Lindsay. Today, I would like to state that all accusations made, and about to be made, by Lindsay against me are not true. I refuse to be dragged into the media storm created in the aftermath of our breakup," he added. "I will not be making any more statements with regards to my former relationship with Lindsay, but I will use all possible legal means to protect my name and reputation."
