Inside Stassi Schroeder's Surprise Wedding
With everything going on the world, from the election to coronavirus, 2020 will be a memorable year for most people. But for former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder, it will be one for the history books. Not only did she get pregnant and lose her job on the hit Bravo show, but Stassi and Beau Clark got married in a secret ceremony in September 2020.
Stassi and Beau got engaged in 2019, though the proposal didn't air on the show until April 2020. They made their relationship official during a public appearance together back in 2018, per Us Weekly, and they were an instant match. Stassi said at the time, via the outlet, that they were happy to just relax with each other. "[We'll] start the day playing some video games, [play] with my dogs, brunch, day drink, then meet up with our friends, and just carry on the night," she said.
In 2019, Stassi said during an episode of Watch What Happens Live (via Us Weekly) that she knew Beau was the man she was meant to be with. "Everything's in the cards and I don't even care about the order," she said when someone asked her about her marriage and baby plans. Good thing she was flexible about the order of things, because a lot happened all at once for the reality star! She announced her pregnancy in June 2020, months after their engagement aired on national television and just days after being let go from her Bravo contract.
Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark had a casual wedding instead of going to Italy
In March 2020, Stassi Schroeder revealed on the Bravo Daily Dish podcast that she and Beau Clark were having a destination wedding in Italy sometime in the fall of 2020. But due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the international wedding had to be postponed. Instead of waiting for things to run their course, Stassi and Beau reportedly tied the knot in a more casual ceremony on the day that they had originally chosen.
Stassi, 32 years old, posted a video of the nuptials on Instagram and captioned it, "Today would've been our wedding day. We went and did it anyway. Married sept 2020 ... Hopefully Italian dream wedding oct 2021. I am so proud to be your wife."
Not much is known about who was invited (and most importantly for Pump Rules fans, who wasn't), but details will likely be made known soon as fans do their due diligence digging on social media. In the video, though, she and Beau are wearing the same clothes as they did in a previous post announcing that Stassi was 25 weeks pregnant, so there are bound to be more and more pics to come.
Although 2020 has been a roller coaster ride for Stassi and Beau, this way, they might even be able to include their first born in their big, Italian wedding next year. Maybe things are starting to look up for the two of them.
