Here's What Happened To Tiffany And Ronald From 90 Day Fiance

Tiffany Franco Smith and Ronald Smith rose to reality TV fame on Season 1 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. The two shared their long-distance love story as Tiffany struggled to decide on a permanent move to Ronald's native South Africa. During her visit with her young child Daniel, the couple got married and conceived their first child together. But, after experiencing the community Ronald lived in, a pregnant Tiffany made the tough decision to return to Maryland with her son.

Since then, the couple has worked hard to maintain their marriage while living on opposite sides of the world. Amid an international pandemic with strict quarantine restrictions worldwide, 90 Day fans have wondered if Tiffany and Ronald are still together. In March 2020, the reality star told In Touch Weekly that quarantine has been "very hard" for her family living in "two separate countries." Especially considering how her husband is "in a strict quarantine in [South Africa]." But, the wife and mother of two tries to maintain normalcy as much as possible by hosting "fun events like backyard picnics, fort sleepovers, we watch tons of movies, [and] of course, lots of homework the school sends," she shared. Here's where their relationship stands now.

Did Tiffany and Ronald break up after the show?

In addition to the long distance, Tiffany Franco Smith and Ronald Smith also struggled with trust issues over Ronald's gambling addiction. During a May 2020 appearance on the TLC spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined, the couple revealed that they tried virtual marriage counseling after a breakup. "It was nothing about infidelity or anything like that," Tiffany revealed. "It was a gambling issue. He's recovering. He's working on himself. And he's doing really really well."

In August 2020, the couple shut down breakup rumors after fans began speculating the status of their relationship following a brief breakup in January. Both Tiffany and Ronald had posted cryptic messages on social media that hinted at trouble in paradise. After Tiffany posted about being so "f–king tired of the roller coaster" before unveiling her freshly cut hair that she "chopped [off] because [she] was sad," Twitter user John Yates' asked if she and Ronald were doing okay. "It's nothing," Tiffany replied. "Mental health is not in the greatest shape for everyone at the moment. The pandemic and all the craziness keeping people apart will do it." With all the 90 Day breakups, it's nice to see another couple doing the work to keep their marriage
