Where Tiger Woods' Ex Really Ended Up

While celebrity cheating scandals have become synonymous with pop culture, perhaps one of the most notable and messy splits was between professional golfer Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren. Following the National Enquirer's 2009 exposé, which revealed Woods' affair with New York socialite Rachel Uchitel, Nordegren allegedly smashed the rear window of the athlete's car with a golf club after learning about his infidelity. Shortly thereafter, more mistresses came forward and detailed their affairs with the golf protégé, causing him to develop a reputation as a serial cheater. Months after Nordegren's public outburst, the couple divorced in 2010.

Although Woods and Nordegren's marriage was undeniably turbulent, the blonde beauty reportedly received over $100 million in their divorce settlement. While her big payout doesn't make up for Woods' disloyalty, we imagine it helped soften the blow. Now that more than 10 years have passed since their public breakup, Nordegren is thriving on her own. Keep scrolling to see where the professional golfer's ex is today.

Elin Nordegren remained under the radar right after her split from Tiger Woods

Understandably, Elin Nordegren went into hiding after finalizing her divorce from golfer Tiger Woods. She spoke out for the first time following their split in 2014, revealing she had "moved on" in an interview with People. "I am in a good place," she told the outlet at the time. "My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good — we really are — and I am so happy that is the case. He is a great father."

While Nordegren was happy to report she and Woods were in good standing, she admitted that developing this civil relationship with her ex-husband wasn't easy. "In the beginning, you tamp down the animosity for the kids' sake," she told People, referring to the former couple's two children, daughter Sam and son Charlie. "I'm not going to deny that I went through the wringer," she added. "But I don't think I doubted we'd end up here. That was always my dream, that the kids can have two loving parents that show respect for each other. And I feel that's what they have."

Elin Nordegren continued to work on herself and her education

Since breaking her silence, the proud mother revealed she graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. in 2014 after years of attending night classes. "I want to continue to study and learn, but I am not exactly sure how yet," she told the Orlando Sentinel at the time. "My passion has always been psychology, but my interests continue to broaden."

The former student was selected to speak at her college commencement ceremony, where she poked fun at herself and her public scandal. "When I entered my student advisor office in the fall of 2005, I was 25 years old, I had just recently moved to America, I was married without children," she said in her speech according to Us Weekly. "Today, nine years later, I'm a proud American, and I have two beautiful children — but I'm no longer married," she joked. "It was right after I had taken [a class in] communications and the media that I was unexpectedly thrust into the media limelight," she added. "I probably should have taken more notes in that class!"

Elin Nordegren found love again, while she and Tiger Woods are on good terms

While the Swedish beauty remained out of the spotlight (aside from a few public real estate deals), People reported that the former couple was still on good terms in 2018. "They're friends now," a source told the outlet. "Everything that happened in the past is in the past. They both decided to be adults and to do what was best for the kids." Assuring readers there is no beef between the two, the insider source said that Woods "never complains about her, ever." In fact, he raves about the mother of his children in "glowing terms."

Following their split, Nordegren was in an on-again, off-again relationship with billionaire Chris Cline until they called it quits in 2017. "Elin was impressed with him from the beginning and eventually fell in love with him," an insider told People. Sadly, Cline died in a helicopter crash in 2019. According to Radar Online, Nordegren sent her condolences to his family.

Thankfully, Nordegren ultimately found love again, this time with football player Jordan Cameron. After over a year of dating, the couple revealed they were expecting in June 2019. They welcomed their son, Arthur, in October of that year. While Nordegren does her best to live a private life — she has no social media presence whatsoever — we can only assume she is enjoying motherhood in peace.
