How Kaley Cuoco Knew Karl Cook Was The One
Former Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has had quite the love life! The actress had a few high-profile romances (a Big Bang Theory co-star and a Superman) and a marriage under her belt before marrying her husband, Karl Cook. Cuoco married tennis pro Ryan Sweeting in December 2013 after briefly dating. At the time, a source told Us Weekly of the engagement, "It's only been three months, but she knows Ryan is the one. When you know, you know." The marriage ended up being quite a bitter one for Cuoco. During a 2018 interview, she told Cosmopolitan: "I honestly thought I wouldn't get married again. My ex ruined that word for me."
Ultimately, Cuoco did end up marrying again, however, this time the engagement wasn't quite as much of a whirlwind as the first one was. In March 2016, Cuoco and Cook became Instagram official. Less than two years later, in November 2017, Cook proposed to Cuoco and recorded the emotional event, posting it to Instagram. Cook captioned the video, "Well after nearly two years I finally got up the courage to ask her to marry me. This is the best night of my life and I think the video shows it is the best night for kaley as well.....if she said yes!!!!!" In the video, there were many, many tears, finally followed by a "yes," from the actress.
So how did Kaley Cuoco know that she would be saying yes to Karl Cook? Keep scrolling to find out.
Kaley Cuoco was hooked once she found out what Karl Cook's passions were
Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook exchanged "I dos" on June 30, 2018, "at a horse stable near San Diego, Calf.," per People. After the wedding, Cuoco posted a sweet pic of her and Cook kissing with the caption, "Legally KCSQUARED 6-30-18." The couple delivered their own wedding vows, which lead to Cuoco being overcome with emotion, as seen in a fan video posted to Instagram. As for Cook — the son of software billionaire Scott Cook — being "the one?" Well, their wedding in a horse stable should give you a clue.
During a September 2016 appearance on The Talk, while talking about then-boyfriend Cook, Cuoco exclaimed (via Us Weekly), "I can't stop smiling. Life is so, so good." She added, "I finally found my horse guy. It was very meant to be. He's an amazing rider, amazing equestrian and a great human. We shared a passion for horses and dogs ... It's been lovely." The couple met at a horse show, per US Weekly, and both Cook and Cuoco are accomplished equestrians.
In a 2017 interview with Us Weekly, Cuoco doubled down on how Cook's love for dogs was a huge thing for her, stating, "... I think the big deal was knowing how much he loves dogs and horses — that's always on my checklist. 'Must love dogs' is number one and he checked that off quite quickly and I fell very hard."
It certainly seems like Kaley Cuoco has finally found someone "stable" in her forever person, horse and dog lover, Karl Cook.
