90 Day Fiance's Deavan Clegg Reveals Sad News About Her Daughter

Deavan Clegg has had a remarkable journey on TLC's 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, where fans have followed her relationship with Jihoon Lee. Deavan married Jihoon in October 2019 and moved to Korea, according to ScreenRant, in order to further her relationship with Jihoon and their conflicts over money, the site also reported. In fact, money became such a frequent topic that fans clamored to know what Deavan did for work. And Deavan's mom even weighed in on the conversation.

Then Deavan made headlines in September 2020 when she was spotted back in the United States with a new boyfriend. It was actually in response to fan backlash over this that Deavan confirmed the sad news that she and Jihoon were getting a divorce.

Apart from all of this drama, fans have become invested in Deavan and her little family. Deavan and Jihoon share a son, Taeyang, and Deavan has a daughter, Drascilla, from a previous relationship. In late October 2020, Deavan gave fans a sad update about Drascilla's health, according to ScreenRant. Here's what's going on.

Deavan Clegg eventually revealed Drascilla's diagnosis

Deavan Clegg gave fans a brief indication on Oct. 31, 2020 that her daughter, Drascilla, was struggling with health problems. On her Instagram story, Deavan said (via In Touch Weekly): "Our baby girl is going through a hard time right now. A lot of health concerns right now. Please send your prayers." Deavan remained optimistic and added, "We think we know what is going on. Hoping for a diagnosis soon." She also thanked followers for their kind messages.

Then, on Nov. 2, 2020, Deavan told fans the news. "We did find out Drascilla has Bell's palsy. We are sad but working hard with her. She's improving with new exercises," Deavan explained on Instagram stories, according to In Touch. "Thank you everyone for sending your prayers. We are hoping she will fully recover. But right now we are hoping to see our princess smile again."

Bell's palsy, as CinemaBlend notes, "is a condition that causes muscle weakness on one side of the face, causing facial paralysis or muscle weakness." It's unclear what causes it, but treatment can be extremely successful and people can come to a full recovery in a range of "2 weeks to 6 months."

This must be so tough for Drascilla, but it's clear Deavan is optimistic and doing everything to see that her daughter reaches a full recovery.
