Sumit still has a lot of work ahead of him

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh have overcome Sumit's wife's stumbling blocks from his arranged marriage. But the reality TV lovebirds aren't out of trouble quite yet. As mentioned earlier, Sumit must work multiple jobs to pay back this dad. Sumit needed his dad's help to pay the $20,000 for the divorce because his financial situation is grim. According to ET, Sumit "currently works as a chef at a restaurant, though not full-time, and he also asked his friend for a marketing job, which would only pay him $100 a week."

The family problems Jenny and Sumit face are significant. According to TV Insider, Sumit must get his parents "to give their blessing for him to marry Jenny." Getting Sumit's parents to agree to the marriage will be an uphill battle. It's safe to say Sumit's parents are not Team Jenny.

According to a September 2020 report by ET, his parents are "heartbroken they were that their son was choosing her as a wife." There's no love lost between Jenny and her mother-in-law, which doesn't make things easier.

Let's hope this 90 Day Fiancé pair can work things out!
