Where Does Melissa Gorga Live And How Big Is Her House?

If you're a fan of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, then you know all about Melissa Gorga. The famous figure lives a life that seems perfectly suited to on-screen drama. Along with her arguably strange marriage to her husband Joe, she also faced a $30 million lawsuit alongside fellow Bravo star Andy Cohen, and the truth is that, despite being a reality TV star, she may not have as much money as you think. She's also dealt with a rather lengthy situation when it comes to selling her mansion.

"My family and I have so many amazing memories in this house; Joe and I built and designed it from the ground up," she said in a statement when they put the home up for sale back in October 2017. "However, we decided it was time for a change and we're excited to see where life brings us next."

Unfortunately for the star, the house failed to sell. But that hasn't stopped her from relisting it. "After taking their property off the market back in February [2019], Melissa and Joe Gorga re-listed the home" in April of that same year "for $342,000 less than their last asking price," according to Bravo, which put it at $2.948 million. Then, in July 2020, she tried yet again and put the house on the market for a straightforward $3 million. Since Gorga is having such a hard time selling the residence, you might wonder what it's actually like. Read on to find out!

Melissa and Joe Gorga's New Jersey mansion is massive

If you are interested in buying Melissa Gorga's mansion, which can be found in Montville, N.J., you will not only thrill the star because she's been trying to sell it for years, but you will also be getting yourself a massive home. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her husband, Joe, picked up the place for $950,000 in 2007, according to People, and have since been living in the residence that spans an impressive 9,100 square feet and offers 16 rooms. Yes, 16!

The "custom-build" home allowed Gorga and her husband Joe to add their personal touch and features more than enough space not only for them, but also for their children, Antonia, Gino, and Joey. That's because it has six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms.

Of course, that's not all that you can find in the house. There's also a recording studio for anyone who is in a creative mood, a movie theater for those who want to watch a flick at home, and a two-story library if you would rather read a book. There's also a salon, walk-in wine cellar, and custom lounge that are perfect when it's time to chill out, as well as a gym and a pool for when you would prefer to be active. Beyond that, there's an outdoor kitchen and an entertainment space in the backyard if you want to host a party.

Honestly, this house sounds so fabulous, it's hard to imagine why they have had so much trouble selling it!
