The Untold Truth Of Bobby Bones

The real truth about Bobby Bones is that the iHeartRadio host is the "most powerful man in country music," according to Forbes. He is the host of the popular radio program The Bobby Bones Show, a top country music morning show in America. He was also the surprise winner of Season 27 of Dancing with the Stars, which elevated him to a broader audience. Not to mention, Bones has served as a mentor on American Idol for several years, as per Deadline.

The superstar host may have a popular radio program and may talk to every superstar in the music industry, but he's still considered controversial in some country music circles. According to StatesmanThe Washington Post once described the country music host as "sort of the Ryan Seacrest of the country music world, if Seacrest was more polarizing and didn't have a filter."

One example of this happened in 2014 when Bones got into a feud with country music star Kacey Musgraves. According to WideOpenCountry, Bones aired a "highly edited" version of an interview with Musgraves, "which intentionally made her seem rude and uninterested in the conversation." This started a Twitter war between Bones and Musgraves that ended after the radio host apologized. Read on to find out the untold truth of Bobby Bones.

Bobby Bones finally found love with Caitlin Parker

Bobby Bones has built a successful career, but he didn't find love until he met Caitlin Parker. The couple met backstage during a Dancing with the Stars taping in late 2019; Parker and Bones became friends. According to People, the romance didn't take off right away. They started talking via Instagram about a month after they met, and after a slow start, the relationship quickly progressed. Bones told People: "We went out, and then we went out again, and we were luckily at the point in our relationship where it was like, 'Hey, do you just want to quarantine together?'"

It seems like being in quarantine sealed the deal for the couple, who announced their engagement on Oct. 11, 2020. Parker made their engagement Instagram official with her post: "I get to marry the best man I've ever known. Bobby surprised me with the most amazing proposal in the barn in our back yard which was immediately followed by a live performance of @matkearney singing our song. I am in shock and feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I'm so in love & so happy."

Bones makes much mention of Parker on both social media and his radio show, and he even gave her a special shoutout at the 2020 CMAs — for which Twitter gave him a good-natured ribbing.
