Big Brother: The Truth About Memphis And Christmas' Relationship

Fans of Big Brother will definitely remember Christmas Abbott. She rose to fame when she appeared on Season 19 of Big Brother and made a splash by breaking her foot within the first two weeks of the competition. She made it to the final three, though, but was eventually sent home a loser, per Screen Rant.

Breaking your foot is always inconvenient, especially for Christmas, who is also a CrossFit athlete. While she might not have been lucky in the athletic department due to the injury, she seemed to win big in love. In October 2017, Christmas began dating fellow CrossFitter and former paratrooper Benjamin Bunn, according to News Observer. Soon enough, Christmas was expecting her first child with Benjamin, a little boy named Loyal, per Us Weekly. The honeymoon phase soon came to an end, though. Months before Loyal was born, Christmas discovered that Benjamin was cheating on her with a woman named Samantha Jane Morse, via CinemaholicThings then got dicey, according to the outlet, and Christmas was arrested after allegedly slamming her car into Samantha's.

Well, the good news is that Christmas has found love again. Fans of the show were thrilled to learn that it's with fellow Big Brother alum Memphis Garrett this time. For a show all about competing with each other, contestants find love more often than you might think. Keep reading because we've got all the deets.

Christmas and Memphis never expected to find love

Fans of Big Brother were over the moon when the news broke that Christmas Abbott and Memphis Garrett had fallen in love and started a relationship. On Dec. 2, 2020, Memphis made the relationship Instagram official by sharing a cozy photo of himself and Christmas with the caption, "Sometime[s] people come into your life and you know they just belong. We tried to fight it but fate had its own plan. Excited for the future." Christmas shared the same photo along with a few others on her page. Her caption read, "Love is not found, it's built." The couple reportedly became close while filming Season 22 of Big Brother: All-Stars, where they both part of The Committee (via E! News).

Christmas opened up about the budding romance while speaking to E! News that same day. "I really didn't think that it would happen for me," Christmas told the outlet. "I wasn't looking for a relationship, I was there to win. It's so wild to have this experience because we reverse engineered how society promotes falling in love. Memphis and I got to know one another through real conversations, building trust with each other and not starting with a physical connection. That's a rare thing!"

"Never in my mind would I ever think I would find love thanks to the Big Brother house, but sometimes fate has other plans," Memphis added.
