How Esther Jenner Really Feels About Kris Jenner
Esther Jenner is the loving and devoted mother to Caitlyn Jenner, the ex-husband of Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch Kris Jenner. Despite being related as in-laws for over 20 years, Esther hasn't had the nicest things to say about her ex-daughter-in-law since her and Caitlyn's 2013 split. It was a long time coming as Jenner was married to her third wife, Kris, for 22 years. They welcomed two children together after their wedding in 1991, and they each have four kids from earlier marriages.
Shortly after their divorce got finalized in 2014, Caitlyn announced her transition. Esther expressed her full support for Caitlyn and shared how proud she was, telling People in 2016, "It takes so much courage to do what she's doing. When I first saw [Caitlyn] all I wanted to do was give her a big hug. It was such new information."

Esther Jenner found Kris Jenner 'controlling'
Shortly after Caitlyn and Kris Jenner finalized their divorce in 2014, Esther Jenner sat down with Daily Mail and unleashed her wrath against the KUWTK momager. "That's accurate," Esther said when asked if Kris was controlling. "I don't know why she is. I don't think she treated anybody very well." She added, "[Kris] could insult you with a big smile on her face. What do you do with a person like that? You're going to avoid them if possible. She was backstabbing as far as my grandchildren were concerned, and that is something I can't stand."
Esther continued, "She's domineering—it's do it her way, or there's no way. I had very little to do with Kris. I stayed away from her as much as I could." But, she wasn't done, and took it a step further when sharing her thoughts about the divorce. "Hallelujah. It was necessary... I hope she changes her name back to Kardashian. I don't want her to carry the name."
In November 2019, Esther spoke to Daily Mail and shared her distaste for the KUWTK show. After reiterating how "controlling" she feels Kris was toward Caitlyn, she accused her of making the athlete look "unassertive and spineless." She also admitted to not being "fond" of the famous family's reality show. "There was no plot, and why it was such a hit I'll never know," she said. Well, good thing they don't have to entertain each other for the holidays anymore.
