90 Day Fiance: Yara Reveals The Real Reason She's So Rude To Jovi
Defining love isn't easy, and thats probably why we're so obsessed with it (and probably why there are so many movies and TV shows about it). One such TV show is 90 Day Fiancé, a reality show about long-distance couples deciding to get married in under 90 days for visa reasons. Usually, those 90 days are full of fights, scandals, and awkward moments. One of the most uncomfortable interviews ever on 90 Day happened when producers asked Yara Zaya, from Ukraine, why she loved her fiancé, Jovi Dufren. Yara couldn't come up with any reasons and said, "I don't know."
Let's back up, though: Jovi and Yara met while traveling solo around the world. They came across each other on a dating app, looking for a casual hookup, but ended up finding something more serious. They were so smitten with each other that they ditched their respective plans for a solo vacay and spent the next six months traveling the world together. As their six-month vacation drew to an end, Yara learned she was pregnant, prompting Jovi to propose, as per In Touch.
Sadly, Yara miscarried not long after. You might think that weathering a tragedy and spending six months seeing the world would bring them closer, but it didn't. In fact, some fans think Yara is downright rude to Jovi. So what's the deal? Read on to find out.
Yara isn't bothered by the haters
When producers asked Yara Zaya what she loved most about her fiancé, Jovi Dufren, she didn't have an answer. "I don't know what exactly I love about Jovi," she said. After giving it a little thought, she admitted that "he [has] a good body," before considering it a little more and clarified, "not now. Before."
Fans of 90 Day Fiancé were understandably a little confused by Yara's answers. If you love someone enough to marry them (or at least enough to get a green card), shouldn't you have a better explanation for why you love them? Yara's comments were met with their own slew of criticisms levied against her on social. Admittedly, Season 8 has been tough for Yara, as fans continue to lose patience with her icy demeanor. "Can we talk about Yara?" one fan wrote on Twitter. "The girl is RUDE. I've never disliked anyone more in the whole 90-day franchise." "Yara clearly hates jovi #90DayFiance," another shared.
Yara isn't letting the haters get to her, though. Shortly after the episode aired, she posted a clip of the interview to Instagram with the caption, "It's so funny ... I'm definitely not a romantic person who can talk about feelings...". She further clarified her feelings in an Instagram story reposted by a fan account. "I don't know how to express and show my feelings that's why usually I'm so rude and cold," she explained.
