Tayshia Adams Reacts To Her Ex Josh Bourelle's Public Interview

When Tayshia Adams agreed to be the Bachelorette, she was most likely looking to find love with a new man and not worry about a past one. However, she found herself fending off rumors that her ex-husband of less than two years, Josh Bourelle, would show up on Season 16 of The Bachelorette, and understandably, she was annoyed. "Why don't we leave him alone and talk about something that actually matters? Honestly, I am bored with this entire topic," the California native told followers through her November 2020 Instagram Story, per Entertainment Tonight.

Tayshia has never said her ex's name on television, most likely as a way to protect his identity. However, she has been honest about her relationship history when appearing on The Bachelor franchise, first telling former Bachelor Colton Underwood that she was married before. The phlebotomist-turned-reality star opened up a bit more about her failed marriage during her time as the Bachelorette, specifically with now-fiancé Zac Clark. During a serious conversation about infidelity in relationships, Tayshia told Zac that cheating was "essentially" the reason why her marriage ended, according to E! News. "I will not date a cheater," she cautioned.

Although Josh has previously remained under the radar, he decided to respond to the cheating allegations via an interview with blogger Reality Steve. Now, Tayshia has spoken out about the public interview. Keep on scrolling to learn what she had to say.

Tayshia Adams is focused on her happiness

Tayshia Adams' ex-husband, Josh Bourelle, joined professional reality TV spoiler Reality Steve on his podcast for a December 2020 interview, defending himself against the criticism. "Really, the only perception of me from the audience is that I am the guy who cheated on Tayshia. So, I mean, I feel like that's a slight injustice," he stated, per E! News.

Although he did admit to cheating, Josh said the marriage was basically over by the time the infidelity took place and said he was not 100 percent to blame for the romance's downfall. "I wasn't in a place where I was actually happy ... I didn't feel like I had a partner. I also look for somebody that I want to raise kids with and honestly, I came to the conclusion that I didn't want to raise kids with her," he explained.

While Tayshia remained silent for weeks following the interview, she finally responded in a short statement to Entertainment Tonight in a Dec. 23 interview. "My journey is my journey and I respect his perspective of how everything went," Tayshia said. "At the end of the day, I hope he finds his happiness and is doing well. I know I am, and that's all I have to say." Tayshia is currently focusing on her new journey with her fiancé Zac Clark, gushing, "I'm living my best life."
