Bachelor Star Kelley Flanagan Speaks Out After Split With Peter Weber
Straight from the horse's mouth: Bachelor star Kelley Flanagan is sharing some answers with her heartbroken fans following the news of her split from Peter Weber. Peter took to Instagram on New Year's Eve in December 2020 to announce that he and Kelley had decided to part ways after linking up in April 2020 following the pilot's stint as the Bachelor.
"I'm here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways. While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn't work out in the end," Peter captioned an Instagram photo of the pair staring into the sunset. "Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for," he added. Hinting at being torn up over the split, he wrote, "These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth the time you spent together."

Although Peter Weber thought he owed it to his fans to share the news of his split at his earliest convenience, Kelley Flanagan said she wanted some "time to process" before she shared her side of the story. Three days after Peter announced their breakup, Kelley took to Instagram on Jan. 3, 2021, writing, "It saddens me to say this but Peter and I have decided to go our separate ways. Peter and I had some unbelievable times together and they will definitely be missed." Subtly sharing why the two decided to part ways, Kelley wrote, "Unfortunately him and I are in two different stages of our lives and saw our future paths differently."
Despite their breakup, it seems like Kelley still holds the pilot in high regard, but she wants to prioritize me-time in 2021. "I wish Peter the absolute best and want to thank everyone for your continued support as I move on to my next chapter," she wrote. "I'm still hoping to make it to New York one of these days, but for now I just want to focus on my happiness!"
