The Real Reason Kenya Moore And Marc Daly Are Breaking Up Again

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and husband Marc Daly have separated again. Daly confirmed the breakup to The Root on Jan. 23, 2021, revealing that they agreed to end their marriage after attending mediation together. In his statement, Daly assured RHOA fans that he "will always have great care for her" and that he looks forward to "amicably continuing to co-parent [their] daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom."

"As always, in addition to perpetual self-improvement, my primary focus will continue to be helping the underserved and people of color in Brooklyn to recover from the negative impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic," the businessman and restaurateur continued. He plans to achieve this goal by "using [his] restaurant as a 'Community Hub' where positive and diverse perspectives on important topics such as economic empowerment, social activism and political engagement can be highlighted."

"I'm blessed to be a positive change agent for not just my family but also my community," Daly concluded. As of this writing, Moore has not publicly commented on the end of her marriage, but on Jan. 24, 2021, she did post an Instagram video showing her boarding a plane with daughter Brooklyn, going on holiday ahead of her 50th birthday.

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly's marriage has been through rocky times before

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly's on-again, off-again relationship has been through its fair share of turbulence before, and some of that has reached our screens via The Real Housewives of Atlanta. They were married in a secret St. Lucia ceremony in June 2017, per The Oprah Magazine. Moore didn't reveal her husband's identity until the Season 10 RHOA finale due to Daly's reluctance to step into the spotlight. In 2017, she told People, "He didn't sign up for this world. I did." They welcomed their daughter Brooklyn in November 2018.

According to People, the couple previously called it quits in September 2019. Although they later reconciled, Moore has spoken about their estranged marriage on RHOA. In the Season 13 premiere — which Bravo aired on Dec. 6, 2020 — Moore talked about how the coronavirus pandemic had put pressure on their marriage. Kenya revealed, "I've been a wife that has tried everything to be respectful, be kind, and I feel like for the past six months, my marriage has just gone downhill." Only time will tell if Kenya and Marc will once again patch things up or if this time is really it.
